Welcome to Mostly Muttz Rescue, Magic! 🧡

Magic’s mama, Mama Juju, needed rescue from an overcrowded shelter while very pregnant. She safely made the trip from the Carolina’s to West Virginia to settle in with a whelping foster. Once there, she took just enough time to decompress a bit and delivered her gorgeous, huge babies! These puppies are known to our rescue as the “Cruise Ship Litter”.

They’ve spent the last two months with a very doting mama and just made the trip to PA to get a taste of freedom and what life has in store for them in their foster homes.

Magic is totally soaking up the attention in her foster home. She loves to play, wrestle and has a spunky spirit about her. She is also doing great with her potty training for her age.

Breeze is living up to her name in foster. As far as puppies go, she has been a total “breeze” to foster. She is a great snuggler with the perfect mix of puppy fun. She’s also doing great with her potty training for her age.

Luminosa is busy soaking up loads of attention in her foster home all while being as cute and affectionate as possible!

Welcome to Mostly Muttz Rescue, Buffy! 🤍

If you love black and dark brindle dogs, this little girl should be at the top of your list of dogs to consider when adopting. Buffy is beautiful - wavy, glossy, soft black fur with dark brindle highlights and a splash of white on her chest.

We saved her from an overcrowded shelter down south where her and her brother weren’t receiving much interest because they were thought to be very scared. They went in foster together down south, awaiting a PA foster home. Buffy just arrived ahead of her brother and while she was shy upon arrival, her foster family has watched her bloom over the last five days.

Once Buffy had a chance to take in her new surroundings, she transformed into a wonderful girl. She very easily integrated into a multi dog home and has been submissive. Her tail is constantly wagging, she has a wiggly butt and she always has the best smile on her precious face.

She loves toys, playing with other dogs, investigating and laying ON TOP OF her person whenever she can. She loves attention. She is full of promise and is going to make a wonderful companion for an adopter. So far, she has been a perfect mix of play and snuggle.

Buffy is doing excellent with crate training and pretty good with potty training for just having started. She just started leashed walks and while she is a bit shy about exploring new areas, she moves forward with an inquisitive spirit.

✨Buffy is up to date on all of her vaccines and will be spayed 12/17. Buffy is being fostered in Reading (Berks County), Pennsylvania and will be able to join her furever family on or after 12/21/2024.

We ♥️ this girl!

Maryland is one of Molly's puppies, and dare we say one of the chillest puppies you'll ever meet! She is a low-energy pup with a very relaxed demeanor, who can still find time for a quick evening session of the zoomies if the mood is just right. She absolutely loves to snuggle up next to you on the couch, but also enjoys getting some fresh air on a nice walk outside where she can sniff around.

Maryland enjoys her chew toys, and really loves her belly rubs and ear scratches. She's relatively quiet, but will let you know if she has something to say. Her crate training is going very well. At night, she will gently signal to let you know when she has to go potty, but otherwise settles quickly. And once you pick up on her queues, daytime accidents are minimal, which is quite impressive given her small size.

Maryland does well with other dogs and seems to gain confidence from her trusted friends. She bonds strongly with both people and other dogs. And she has the cutest little curly Q tail. She really just wants to love and be loved, and would make a great companion for anyone looking for that missing piece in their life!

Maryland is being fostered in Limerick (Montgomery County), Pennsylvania and is ready to head home with a furever family ♥️

Welcome to Mostly Muttz Rescue, Berry!

Berry is excited to have finally landed a PA foster home! We saved Berry along with her mom and sister when Hurricane Debby hit and she’s been patiently awaiting her turn to find her furever home.

Berry just arrived and has already won over the hearts of her foster family. It’s easy to tell they adore her and say she is just the sweetest!

Berry has been amazing with the young children in her foster home and getting along great with their 4-year-old blue heeler. Berry is quickly gaining confidence in her new foster home each and every day.

So far, Berry doesn’t play much in regards to fetch or tug, but is excited to run around the yard and is especially fond of chasing squirrels. Overall, she is a very chill dog who will have no problems integrating into a family with or without other dogs/children.

Brooklynn is an adorable white and black pointer mix puppy about 3 months old with a heart full of love. She has the cutest little black spot on her head. We anticipate she will grow up to be a medium sized dog. She is friendly, playful, and would love to go on adventures with you!
