Toby is a smart, sweet, and absolutely handsome guy who’s sure to steal your heart. He’s not just a looker—he’s got the personality to match. Toby has a knack for making doggie friends, though he takes a bit of time to warm up to new people. He’s a huge fan of playtime, especially when it involves a game of fetch or romping around with his canine buddies.

This attentive boy is a quick learner who knows basic commands and listens intently, making you feel like he truly understands every word you say. He walks beautifully on a leash and is eager to please, making him a joy to take on strolls. Just say the word “walk,” and watch his adorable head tilt in excitement!

Toby’s playful side shines through when he watches other dogs on TV—yes, he’s a fan of doggy entertainment! He’s also learning to enjoy car rides and has been making progress every day. While he may need some reassurance in certain situations, like hearing gunshots in the distance or encountering new people, he quickly relaxes with a little love and guidance.

He’s a lovable, ball-chasing companion who thrives on attention and affection. If you’re looking for a smart, attentive, and playful pup to add to your family, Toby might just be the perfect match.

Welcome to Mostly Muttz Rescue, Lilah!

Lilah is a petite little beagle mix who came into the shelter with an injured eye at very end of 2024. She had the eye removed and recovered well before making her way to PA on 1/18. She doesn't let having one eye slow her down!

Lilah is the sweetest little lovebug, curious about her surroundings but much more interested in snuggling up with you. She did very well overnight in the crate with just a little vocalizing upon immediately going in, but settled well as soon as all lights were out.

She's not quite fully house-trained but is working hard at it! She's working on basic commands and is extremely treat motivated so we know ongoing training will be a breeze.

Welcome to Mostly Muttz Rescue, Jasper! 🤎

Jasper is an easygoing guy who enjoys some time outside using his hound dog nose, then he's happy to snooze in a dog bed when he's done.

He is a big boy, so we think there is something bigger mixed with beagle in his ancestry. Jasper is quiet, especially for a beagle!

He is crate trained and good on leash. He gets along great with other dogs, and he's friendly with all humans of all sizes.

Jasper is being fostered in Breinigsville (Lehigh County), Pennsylvania and will be able to join his furever family on or after 2/1/2025.

Denali is the sweetest little girl! Her fluffy, soft white fur is stunning - she’s quite the beauty!

Denali enjoys snuggling and soaking up attention and playing with toys. Her spunky, fun personality is contagious!

Denali is sleeping quietly in her xpen overnight. She has been great with other dogs and is up to date on all age appropriate vaccines.

It’s hard to understand how such a wonderful girl like Skye can wait so long to find a furever home. She’s the star of the events she attends, loved fiercely by our volunteers and fosters and even has a fully sponsored fee (thanks to Dan Albert - State Farm Agent)

Perhaps it’s the thought of her potential size and strength that keeps adopters from meeting her, but she really isn’t as difficult to manage as you might think. You can always meet her and find out for yourself through our “meet me” program - with no obligation to adopt.

♥️ Please help share her post to help her get the attention of a potential adopter. She sooooo very much deserves her own home.

Skye was born as a puppy within the rescue and named Pebbles. She became known as Skye by her adoptive family. While loved immensely, her family was unable to keep her and now she’s looking for the right forever home.

Skye has a chill disposition and loves being around her people in the house. She is happy lounging on a comfy couch, playing with tough chew toys, and watching other dogs on television. Yes, she watches TV intently!

If she sees activity outside, she will bark to let you know and then grab her favorite toy to meet people at the door.

Skye prefers an environment as an only pet. She’s strong and gentle at the same time. Playful yet low maintenance. She likes to look out the window and can sleep for hours.

She is able to have free roam or is crate trained if preferred and knows her commands. Her manners are excellent, and no food begging for this girl.

With her expressive soft brown eyes and silky gray coat, she will melt your heart!!!

Skye is being fostered in Reading (Berks County), Pennsylvania.

Hey. It’s me, your back yard dog.
I know it’s cold but I was hoping you would come check on me when you got home. I waited for you, you didn’t come. I barked because you forgot to feed me and give me fresh water, again. You yelled at me to be quiet. 😥
It’s late, The lights in the house went dark, you are probably in bed now and won’t come bring me in from the bitter cold. What did i do wrong? Why don’t you love me? I still love you....
Please if you won’t bring me inside and love me like family, will you find someone that will? Someone that would feed me every day and keep me warm and safe like i wish you would do. Because I still love you.
Please don’t forget about me again. I’m waiting for you....but it’s so cold and I’m lonely. 💔
