Kittens have been tested for FELV/FIV (negative) and are up to date on vaccines - spayed/neutered and ready to go to their new families! Milo a handsome young boy, (husky mix) will be there too, in hopes of finding a forever home.

V***n has been adopted ♥️🐾

V***n is an adorable sweetheart. She is crate trained but loves to fall asleep on your lap or lately she loves hanging out draped across shoulders on the back of the couch. She likes tummy rubs and butt scratches. She prefers to potty outside. She walks well on leash but loves sniffing and exploring.

V***n loves loves loves playing with other dogs big or small and puzzle toys. She's a smart cookie and knows sit, no, breakfast, out and treat. She's working on stay, drop it and come. She's gentle with the tiny dogs but loves wrestling with the big dogs.

V***n has grown up in foster but is longing for a home of her own! She spends the workday in a pen with a few special toys and sleeps in her pen as well. She does like to bark out the window but is otherwise pretty quiet. She seems to be nearly done her puppy chewing phase except for an obsession with paper towel rolls. She gets super excited when she meets new people so her foster is working with her on that. She’s normally very chill except for some zoomies when she first gets up and before bed.

RESCUE RIDE - Please welcome 7-year-old Gator (fox red male) and 4-year-old Hook (black female) to Brookline foster care. These dogs were found together as strays and ended up in a shelter. Thanks to Peggy and Mary who evaluated Gator and Hook and transported them into foster care today. Thanks also to Michelle and Rob, who will be fostering Hook, and Greg A., who will be fostering Gator. Keep an eye on our website for their blogs once their foster homes learn more about them. Welcome to Mostly Muttz Rescue, Samuel! 🤍

Samuel’s Foster Momma can't say enough great things about this cute little guy! He weighs in at 41.6 pounds, rides great in vehicles, walks very well on leash and is just a charming soul to be around. Samuel loves other dogs and felines. He's even met goats but he's not sure what to make of them yet. He is house trained as well as crate trained. If you're looking for a super cuddly companion, he's your boy!

Guinea piggy galore! Check out our four guinea pigs available for adoption; two at each shelter.

Rolo’s favorite time of the day is when she gets her pellets and veggies in the morning. She also eats timothy hay and mixed greens. She can be a bit shy but has learned to enjoy little head pets. Rolo should have a large enough cage or a pen for her to exercise in since she LOVES her zoomies.

Ginger’s squeaks can be heard from outside of the room! He has previously lived with another Guinea pig but if you have any other pigs in the home, we recommend doing slow and supervised introductions.

Mr. Spunky is a cool dude looking to hang out with some new friends. Chilling in his hut and eating snacks are some of his favorite ways to spend his days.

Marbles is a handsome fellow who will steal your heart with his stylish middle-part hairstyle and his cute chubby cheeks. He gets excited hearing the bag of fresh greens being opened. Marbles enjoys his snacks and then retires to his private hut for some well-deserved R&R time.

Our piggies are shy when meeting new people, so we recommend going slowly when introducing yourself. With some encouragement and patience, they will come out of their shells and become your new best friend.

Each guinea pig can be adopted for $15. Adopting from a shelter frees up space so we can help the next animal who needs our help.

Welcome to Mostly Muttz Rescue, Jones! 🤍

Jones just arrived to his PA foster home and has wasted no time becoming the best of friends with the pack. No doubt his sweet disposition will make him a breeze to integrate into any home. Pictures do not do him justice - he is stunning in person! As you can see in his photos he always has one ear on alert to make sure he doesn't miss anything fun or important.

After a round of play he enjoys a quiet nap at your feet or in the crate, which he seeks on his own when he's ready for quiet time. He seems quite treat motivated and is hard at work on basic commands already. He will require patience as he gets the hang of housetraining, as all puppies do. So far he has not shown interest in chewing anything he's not supposed to but he will occasionally bring you one of your flip flops, in case you wanted to get ready to take him on a short adventure!

Jones will be able to head to his furever home on or after 8/24/2024. He is fostered in Chester Springs (Chester County), Pennsylvania.

Cadi (left) is still searching for her forever family. Can you help her find them by sharing her sweet face? 😍

Cadi is an adorable 5 month old Terrier mix puppy who came to us from ACCT Philly as a stray. Cadi is loving life in her foster home and is always ready to play! She loves both dogs and kids. She thrives around other dogs, as long as they're patient with her playful puppy antics and after a fun play session this girl knows how to cuddle! She has been working hard on crate training and puppy manners and is doing great! She can still be a little mouthy, so older kids would be best! She does great with some guidance and is learning more everyday! She would make a great addition to any active family.

Foster Friday: Meet Dolly! ♥️🐾

Dolly is a six month old Boxer mix with the cutest underbite. She has such a beautiful heart. This sweet girl was sadly abandoned on someone’s property in South Carolina, but she hasn’t let that dampen her spirit. Dolly is a true gem—she's crate trained, potty trained (she even lets you know when she needs to go and holds it until you get her outside!), and she's a quiet companion who isn’t much of a barker.

Dolly has a way of winning over everyone she meets, including the resident dog bully at her foster home, who now showers her with kisses at every opportunity. She’s great on a leash, both for walks and potty breaks, though she’s still getting used to new things like the sound of rolling trash cans. If you’re looking for a loving, well-mannered dog with just a little bit of shyness (which only makes her more endearing), Dolly could be the perfect addition to your family.

Welcome to Mostly Muttz Rescue, Johnny! 🤍

Johnny is a little bundle of love and affection, always choosing to be close to his person. This little boy comes to us from the Carolina's where he and his brother, Jones, were rescued from underneath a shed. Unfortunately it was just the two of them - so we really have no idea about the parents.

Johnny's mostly white with brown spotted coat and green eyes is truly unique. He has a petite build with long legs at only 15lbs - our best guess is that as an adult he will likely be medium-sized. He is doing very well with crate training and is quiet while crated, sleeping through the night. Potty training is a work in progress as is learning all about leashed walks. He is an observant little boy and seems to catch on quickly to routines.

Johnny is being fostered in Exeter Township (Berks County), Pennsylvania. He will be available to be adopted on or after 8/24/2024
