Iridescent colors such as blue and turquoise are more visible on juvenile bettas under flash, at least until they’ve put on more size.
Short clip of the giant plakat spawn chowing down on some Repashy Spawn & Grow.
F2 Giant CT Size Comparison
Despite the warping from the jars, the size difference between these two brothers is noticeable. The male on the right is the largest fish from his spawn and I'm currently trying decide whether or not I want to continue to F3 with him or spawn him to a distantly related giant PK (sister to the male's deceased grandmother) that I'll be getting from a friend soon. Decisions, decisions
A quick clip of my wild Guitar Smaragdina pair spawning. These guys have spawned at least 3 times since I've gotten them. It appears as though they spawn as soon as fry are free swimming, and so far neither parent has made an attempt to eat any of the fry.
