America had her 12 week checkup and second round of shots. I'm super bummed that she still has a slight heart murmur. There is a chance that it can still go away by 16 weeks. If it doesn't however, she will be looking for a new pet home. 😞 I've spent a lot of time with her and working on training is going well but we won't be able to raise another female in the future if we keep her. Anyone interested in adding her to your family if she needs to be placed, message me and we will choose the perfect home for her if that time comes.

Informational post:
Little snip of insemination process. Camera goes in to make sure the catheter is in the cervix. Then place the catheter and then semen. I love that as the owner I get to be present and see everything that happens at this vet. They have a wonderful reproduction team. Now we just wait to see if everything took. Ultrasound appointment on October 30th.

Ovulation occurred Monday. We will be doing a Trans Cervical insemination today at 530! That will put puppies hopefully due Dec 3

The 2 love birds are vacationing at the Idaho Vet Hospital over the next week. Progesterone was very early so they will be retesting on Saturday. Exams went well, there is no reason seen why they should not be able to produce a litter. The waiting game continues.

The time has finally arrived! Wrangler and Royalty will be going to Idaho Veterinary Hospital on Thursday to monitor progesterone and artificially inseminate if needed to hopefully get a litter this time. If everything works out, we should expect puppies near Thanksgiving!

This was our first nature desert walk. Lasted less than 10 minutes before retreating back to the AC indoors. 7 weeks old and getting ready for new adventures with their new families. 💜🥹💜
