Sirus is doing much better. Antibiotics are doing their job and she's back to being a feisty puppy! Yesterday her litter (Amaya/Gambler's) turned 6 months old! How are all of her siblings doing? Please post a photo so we can tell her all about them. 💜

Poor Sirus ended up at the ER last night not knowing what is going on. She had a fever of 104.7, didn't want to move, not interested in food. Parvo test, x rays, bloodwork, and nothing definitive. She had a high white cell count so she's fighting an infection somewhere. She also got an ultrasound on her belly and they could see her uterus which could indicate a possible pyometra in an older female but extremely unlikely on a pup that's never had a heat cycle. The vet didn't know what to think of it either. Fluids and some antibiotics are the route we took. This morning she walked herself outside and was interested in food again so the fluids definitely helped her bounce back a little. She could use some encouragement to get better and be the bouncy pup she usually is. 💜

Once you exceed 4 the numbers mean nothing. 😂 Just more focus on pack training and keeping female attitudes in check. (And hey, they're not all boxers) 🤣

One of those situations where you hear the dogs getting into something so yell across the house "what are you doing"? Wrangler ran to her kennel with the "I didn't do anything" look. No, Wrangler not at all, it's not like there is any evidence you were doing anything out of the ordinary. 😂🤣😂💜

Anyone with children that enjoy everything about their dog, I encourage you to look into your local 4-H group! They always need more kids so they can continue. 7/13/2024 was the Elmore County Fair dog show. My 15 year old daughter has shown dogs for 6 years now, the last 4 being with Royalty. She has done ALL of his training herself from day one. This year, you can see they did very well as a team and she's one happy teen! If anyone has questions about 4-H you can always ask me, I would love to see more kids active in their family dog training. 💜

Not that I expected anything but clear results, but DM results are in and all three youngins are clear. 😊 Still waiting for OFA to tell us if Maizey is healthy enough to be a mom. 😁

Maizy had her vet appointment on the 2nd to get her DM, thyroid, hips, and elbows tested. If she passes she will be cleared for babies!!!

How does your boxer handle fireworks 🎇? If worked with early on desensitizing, the 4th of July can be a fun activity for everyone including your dog! If you don't try to hide them from the scary noises and instead get them used to the sounds at a low volume and increase it gradually, your dog can get accustomed to the sounds and not react when they happen throughout the year. Sirus (Amaya and Gambler pup) was able to spend the holiday with family because she's a pretty secure boxer.

Those eagerly waiting for our next litter I would like your input! Maizy will be our new momma to be this year. She is the daughter of Angel and Royalty so Royal will not be the daddy to her pups. She is 1/2 Euro herself. I have a possible couple of options I'm looking into for the sire. Those interested in puppies, would you be more interested in a full Euro sire making puppies be more Euro lines or more interested in a sire that is also an American/Euro mix? I'm curious if you all have a preference. . Picture of Miss Maizy cuz she's beautiful 💜

OFA Heart testing done on Maizy and Wrangler. Both passed. Maizy will be getting her DM, ARVC, hips, elbows, and thyroid done soon in hopefully preparation for her first litter!

A few updates we have gotten from the families of our last litter. We have Daphne (Wenda) and her brother Duke, Luke (Wall-E) and his sister Lilly, and Ruby (Winter) with her new sister Remy. 💜 Sirus is with us as she is my daughter's pup, I will get an updated photo of her as well to share. Can everyone else update on how their baby is doing? As a reminder, their next shots are due next week!

Winter got her health certificate so she is ready to fly on Monday! Holding her today I noticed she has visible fawn stripes! She is actually a reverse brindle not sealed. You never know as they grow if that fawn is going to come through or not, I was super excited to see it. 💜

Oh boy, a message received on my Good Dog account. I put it very nicely that Winter wasn't a good match for what he was looking for. She deserves to go to a family that just wants to focus on her. She's too dang sweet to go to just anyone. I'm fearful he will have puppies by next year with dogs who are babies themselves. 😭

Wenda found her home! Winter is the last girl looking. We will be driving to meet Wenda's new family in Oregon on Friday if anyone else in Oregon or Washington is interested in her and wants to cut off some travel time!

My artistic daughter has made personalized tote bags for the babies this go around! Those that have new names got them on the bags and those who don't have families or haven't decided have their litter names. They turned out absolutely fantastic!!! 💜🥰💜

7 weeks old! Holy cow the time has flown. I haven't done stacked photos of puppies in a LONG time so since the weather was cruddy, I had my son help with stacking the babies! They truly are a beautiful bunch. 💜

Last milestone to introduce before their new families take over their training. 💜 Introduction to a crate, we don't force them into it. They get to explore, smell, chew (why we don't use a super nice once for this) and decide if they want to be in it or not. Having bedding helps them choose to sleep there if they don't decide to drag it out. Anything new is very interesting to these guys.

They are brave little stinkers! Took them no time to decide to go down the slide. What I didn't get on video was Winter choosing to go UP the hill on the back and then go down the slide! I think she enjoys it!
