Copper was just surrendered today. His people are heart broken. The reason he was brought to the shelter is that he was starting to show his Heeler tendencies. He was nipping at the 7 year old as Heelers sometimes do. He is part Red Bone / Red Heeler. He is about 2 years old and weighs 70 pounds.
Copper is quite the dog! He can sit, lay down, rollover, speak and plays fetch!
Things he loves to do is eat, eat, eat and run. He loves to go camping, beach days and 4 wheeling.
He is kennel trained and loves to go for car rides.
He really doesn’t care for young kids so a home with no kids or older kids is a must.
If this fun guy sounds like a good fit stop in to the Jackson County Animal Shelter. Let’s find this guy a home!
As a bonus he is up to date on shots and is neutered.
