Had an enjoyable weekend dog trialling this weekend. Firstly at Grove House yard dog trial, With Wyanbah Biggin coming second in the open yard trial and the rest of the team doing well on tough sheep. Thanks to organisers Scott, Jaz, Simon & Cath, congratulations to Simon & Fouroaks Butch on winning the open & all other winners and place getters.
Sunday we went to Deloraine for a 3 sheep trial, With Biggin winning the Novice, Tumutvalley Sue second & Fletcher's Monte coming 3rd! Thanks to the organisers for a great day!

Last weekend we headed to Meander for our first serious go at 3 sheep trailing. Very happy with how all the dogs went, especially Monster who won his first 3 sheep event in the Novice. Online bidding has commenced on the auctions plus website, with the physical auction being held at 3pm tomorrow after the live demo's.

Not only did he take out Dog of the year with Wyanbah Monster, Adrian also won the handler of the year! A big thank you to Webb & Woodiwiss for sponsoring the dog of the year but also to TQM (Tasmanian quality meats) on sponsoring the handler of the year.

Tasmanian Yard Dog of the Year 2022 was won by Wyanbah Monster & Adrian Carpenter! 👏
Monster won with a total of 28 points.
Monster had a big trialling year competing in every trial (except one that Adrian judged) and winning 4 out of the 8 trials he competed in.
Adrian was presented with the new perpetual plaque for this award (kindly donated by Bamma Kelpies) at our AGM held on Sunday.

Whiterock Elsa had 3 beautiful puppies on the 15th October. 2 chunky boys and 1 girl. I got them out for a play in the grass. These pups are by Wyanbah Monster. (NFS)

We ventured to the Launceston show yesterday, the weather was kind and it was a great day, We had 4 dogs in the open and Wyanbah Biggin took out the win with Bamma Alf coming second, we were very happy with how the team went. Thank you to the Launceston show committee for having us back, it was a well run show and we look forward to returning next year.

Adrian and Monster won the stockmanship award in the novice at the Australian utility championship's, he also made the final in the open with Monster.

Adrian has had a great run with his dogs and very happy with how they have preformed at the utility championship's. Monster has made it into the open final, Sue & Biggin just a few points of making it in but very happy with overall with the team. Good luck to all the competitors today in the finals.

Well done on a fantastic trial at Bendigo. Bamma Alf come away with 6th place in the open. We would like to congratulate Tim Hall Valley Kelpies on taking out the improver and also coming 3rd in the championship round. Also we'll done Mitch Jubb and Cruise on taking out the big one.
