Hi everyone! Just a little update for you all as it has been a while since we posted. As we are doing other jobs now we were going to stop offering our services, however due to demand we have decided that we will still take on some new clients depending on location and duration, we also aren't able to offer specific morning, afternoon or evening visits anymore as we have to work around our shifts. We used to offer a '30 minute pop-in' and a '1 hour enrichment session' we now only offer the enrichment session which is £12 per day. This includes food, litter trays, medication, play time etc for up to 1 hour depending on the cat as we sometimes look after outdoor cats that aren't home when we visit, or nervous cats that would prefer us to not be there for 1 hour.

Welcome to ’The Crazy Cat Sitters’ page. We offer a bespoke, in-house, competitively priced cat sitting service for your furry family members. Why only cats you ask? Well, it’s quite simple actually… We are cat crazy feline fanatics (hence the name), and we understand that your cats aren’t just your pets, they are your babies! For those of you that don’t know us personally our names are Matt and Chloe and for the past 4 years we have been running Steampuss Cat Lounge in Scarborough. Sadly, due to rising costs we recently had to close our doors for the last time. We now live at home with our 15 fur-babies so you could say that we have had a lot of practice caring for them… Some may even call us ‘cat experts’, but we like to remain modest.

So how does it work? We know that all cats are different, with their individual quirks and personalities which is why when you book a slot with us we always like to visit you in advance, meet you and your fur-baby (or babies), get to know them as well as you and ask those all important questions to make sure that our service is tailored purr-fectly to your and your cats’ needs, after all nobody wants to trust a complete stranger that they have never met with their fur-babies right?

What are the benefits of in-house cat sitting over a cattery? We believe that in-house cat sitting is much less stressful for your cat than a cattery. Even the most comfortable and caring catteries can be stressful for some cats. This is because cats are highly territorial and prefer to be in a familiar environment. Some find the sights, sounds and smells of unfamiliar places, people and other cats overwhelming and anxiety inducing, also you run the risk of your cats being exposed to fleas, ticks diseases and viruses etc.

Pricing is £12 a day.
