MY OPINION: TREED vs TREELESS? There is no 100% correct answer other than any saddle has to fit both HORSE and RIDER : I have been an independent fitter ( treed and treeless ) for over 30 years, and respect True Partner Saddlery whom I have worked with before and ridden for years in a saddle they built for me. There are 5% of horses in my business that cannot be fit with any builders rigid tree, due to horse or rider unusual anatomy, or physical problems. I have also worked closely Nickers Saddlery Ltd. in Canada, and have purchased and am currently riding in their Chinook SRX treeless saddle with excellent results on the 16 hand Walker I'm riding. And they DO pressure testing. WHat I've learned in 30 years is that there is not ever just one answer when saddlefitting. https://www.facebook.com/equeffusion
