Our Story
My name is Kristin Fiato. I’m a Voorheesville, NY dog walker and pet sitter. I was born and raised in Voorheesville- VHS Class of 2002! After some time away for college, traveling and trying to get on that “career path” my mom always told me about, I’m back to the village as the best friend to a spunky Goldendoodle named Georgia, and dog walker and pet sitter to you! What makes you the happiest? What part of the day do you look forward to most? What puts a smile on your face and your soul at peace? For me it’s easy: dogs, being outside and exercising. I love dogs. I actually wish I was a dog. I love everything about them. I love their tenderness, their silliness, their loyalty, their cheekiness, their curiosity and their confidence. The pure and simple joy that radiates from a dog while walking is contagious and exhilarating. It’s therapeutic for both human and animal- truly remarkable and perfectly rewarding. My friends and family might say that I can’t sit still, but I think people just relax differently. Whether it’s walking Georgia, working out at the gym, playing sports, hiking, skiing or running- I’m always on the move, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Our motto at LeashLife is "an exercised dog is a happy dog". And you can say the same for me- an exercised Kristin, is a happy Kristin. (-:
