This is one of my new friends this Thanksgiving weekend! This week is deaf dog awareness week and I've had the joy of learning a new language to help care for these 2 pups. One is now resting in his eternal home due to old age. RIP T!
Using hand signals is not uncommon for animal communication, nor is the need for training when a new dog enters the home, so don't overlook a dog with hearing limitations just realize that training time might look, and sound, different for you and the animal.

Did you celebrate Dress up your Pet Day on Saturday? These 2 were troopers to put up with the shenanigans! Max (L) actually likes his sweater but it's just a bit big for him. Toffee (R) wasn't too sure about the Packer jersey. I think she would have preferred a Jaguars jersey!!
