New Walking in Sync class!

This is a 6 week course that focuses on loose leash walking. Dogs will learn how to get into heel position on cue and how to maintain that position while walking! We will also teach the dogs how to handle distractions that often plague dogs on walks. Teaching the dogs a “leave it” cue and how to pass other dogs.

Class starts January 30th at 4pm

Finding the right type of reinforcements is so important!! Take time to experiment with what your dog likes most! Treats? Toys? Affection? All dogs have favorites! You can see Nika likes toys more than anything!

Wink antler shed hunting

Wink sees the world through her nose. Disabled dogs don’t need limits! Wink is deaf and has limited vision but she loves working! Antler shed hunting is a great way to channel some of her energy into an appropriate outlet. It’s also a great way to give her an extra job while we’re out hiking! Join us Sunday afternoons!
