What a busy last four weeks it’s been!
We’re really sorry for the delay in updates — but we’ve been working non-stop and have so much to share with you.

Another heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to our shelter fundraiser — we made it happen on May 7th!
Thanks to our amazing volunteers
Raule, Michael, Matt, and Izabella,
the shelter was built in a single day. It took time, effort, and dedication — but it was absolutely worth it.
We spent €130.64 on pallets and materials — much less than we expected!

And a big thank you to our volunteer Giulia Casoli and her amazing partner Lorenzo for building another smaller shelter in our second cat colony on May 13th. The cats absolutely love it — especially the young mums who’ve already started using it! Luckily, we had plenty of pallets left over from the main shelter, so we didn’t need to buy any more materials.

In the last four weeks, we spent a total of €759.
Out of that:
• €470.57 went toward food and water (likely even more, as some receipts weren’t collected)
• €138.98 went toward vet care, including €110 to gently say goodbye to one of our poorly cats. We’ll share more about his story later this week.
• €149.45 went toward two new cages and small toys for cats who need short-term care or recovery support

We are so, so thankful for your continued support. We now have over 200 followers, and each one of you is incredibly important to us.

We want to start by saying a huge, heartfelt thank you to everyone who supports us — truly, we are so incredibly grateful.
Your kindness and generosity keep us going and make a real difference for our little ones. We see every donation, every message, every share — and we appreciate it more than words can say.

We’re also very excited to share that we’ve joined Teaming — a platform where you can support us by donating just €1 a month. It may seem like a small amount, but when people come together, it adds up and becomes something powerful.

Every single euro from Teaming goes directly towards food and water for our colonies — nothing else.

We also ran a fundraiser to build a protected shelter for food and water in one of our colonies, and we’re over the moon to say we raised €200! Every cent will go straight into this project. The shelter will be built on April 18th, so make sure to follow us on Instagram and Facebook for updates!

In the past two weeks, we spent €90.42 on food and water for the colonies. On top of that, we invested in some much-needed new equipment — including more feeders, drinkers, small houses, toys, and a new trap cage that allows us to catch multiple cats at once. It’s a real game-changer for helping those who are sick or need urgent care.

A huge thank you as well to those who donated food, water, and supplies —
the German tourists, the amazing Julia and Jane from Sweden, and a kind lady from Belgium, who also gave us €5 in cash, which went straight to buying more food.

To every single one of you — whether you donated, shared, supported, or simply sent love — thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your help brings safety, care, and hope to the cats who need it most.
