Little Warrior Joe a.k.a. YES way Jose’ is having some tummy troubles with all the transitioning and diet change. Added some probiotics and gave him what might have been his first bath ever! Getting him used to bladder expressions and belly bands. Got to get him in to the fabulous rescue vet soon and see what all we can do for this guy. Getting him a set of wheels and I’ve got the scooter and stroller still from when I had Abalone. Haven’t used this little bathing floating flower pad thing made for babies since she’s been gone. Miss that special girl. Hope she is smiling down on Warrior Joe along with Ranger Mouse and all the other ones who are watching.

Happy tails beautiful girl! Omelette left on transport a bit delayed due to van issues-but she’s off! Of course spending bonus time with her was exactly that-a bonus! You will be missed but hopefully I will get updates. She’s from where there are many wonderful dogs still waiting for their forever.

Sharing about these 5, who I had to open my room to for quarantine when I heard their story. They needed a spot to grieve while we tried to figure something more longterm out for them all. The momma who I call Magic is still here.

🐾💔 A Heart-Wrenching Call for Help 💔🐾

Yesterday, our rescue received a devastating request from animal control that no one should ever have to face. In a tragic situation, a woman lost her life in her home, leaving behind 5 small dogs who were found crying beside her. Our dedicated team rushed in to save these innocent souls, and we were able to bring them to Austin last night.

Upon arrival, we discovered that one of the dogs, a sweet girl we named Wish, has severe head trauma and is struggling to stand. She was seen by our vet this morning, and while the outcome is hopeful, she urgently needs to see a neurologist for further evaluation and treatment.

In a miraculous but heartbreaking twist, one of the other dogs gave birth to three tiny puppies overnight. Their mom, understandably confused and disoriented, needs our support as she navigates this overwhelming situation. The puppies are now in need of incubators and bottle feeding, as they rely on us for their survival.

These dogs have been through unimaginable trauma, and now they need our help more than ever. We are urgently seeking donations to cover their veterinary care and supplies for the puppies. Additionally, we are looking for compassionate foster homes to provide a safe and loving environment for these precious souls as they heal.

Hominy and I aren’t ready for Halloween to be over. It’s always a good day for a frog hat! Hominy is with and though she’s spoken for-there are many great dogs available for adoption. This girl has been a fun foster and I will miss her and her daughter Coral.
