One day a pretty little feral cat wandered into a yard looking for something to eat. The two ladies who lived there had always loved animals and they immediately tried to befriend her. She was very shy and frightened but somehow, she knew she had found a safe place and decided to stick around. Soon it became obvious that she was going to have kittens, and at the end of July, 2015, my two siblings
and I were born. Sadly, my mama passed away a short time later. I was old enough to live on my own but very, very wild. It took a lot of time and patience before anyone could get close to me, and it was many months before I became trusting enough to venture into the house for the first time. The ladies kept working with me and over time, I became more comfortable with them. One day, the three of us decided it was time for me to move in permanently. (Between you and me, it's a good thing, too. I'm not sure how they ever managed without me!)
These days, I'm a healthy, well-adjusted and somewhat spoiled young man who enjoys and appreciates all the creature comforts of being an inside kitty. I'm still a little shy around strangers and tend to hide if someone makes a sudden move toward me, but most people are very understanding when they hear about my rocky start in life. Some people say feral cats don't make good companions, but my human mom and grandma knew that I would be a wonderful addition to their family. They were 100% correct! If I could have one wish, it would be that ALL dogs and cats could be as loved and happy as I am. Please join my family and me as we work toward that goal, one soul at a time.
