Great weekend at Longview UKC show! Seeing old friends and making new ones!

R***r earned some points and was Best Veteran, he’s truly a testament to the longevity of the breed when the right traits are focused on! All judges couldn’t believe he was 9 and commented on his great condition, shiny coat, and great demeanor.

Camo won best of winners to finish his Champion title for conformation!

Dazzle had a super first ever outing and earned herself some points and a few class wins!

Very proud of my dogs and it was some long days, we didn’t finish until after 7pm on Saturday show! But they showed well and it was great to see everyone and visit!

I need to go through pictures and post more but here are some I snapped while we did lots of waiting 🤣

Super weekend but we are beat! Long weekend but worth it, we came home with a new champion! Updates to follow, for now me and the dogs are glad to be home!

The crazy train rolls on! Off to a UKC show in Longview, TX! After one bad tire turned into four, and $1,200 later 🫣😂 I can say this is the most expensive show we’ve gone to and it hasn’t started yet 🤣 happy to be here safely and see our friends tomorrow!

Is anyone looking for a 1.5 yr old spayed female pup? Very sweet gets along with other dogs but bottom of the pack and would really prefer her own family. House trained and crate trained. Good with toddler, unsure about cats, she will chase chickens if they are left loose to roam with her. Given her temperament I think she is more of a pet at this time instead of a hunting dog, although she loves to work cows! Please PM us!

Super big but adorable sweet male catahoula pup. Born 8/2/23, has three sets of shots, dewormer, and flea meds. Started crate and potty training. Parents are good working dogs. He is ready to go and looking for his forever family! 3️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ we’re in Palestine, TX.

Incredible weekend brushing off the dust! We headed to UKC Southern Classic show this weekend in Belton, TX and we thought we’d just bring some dogs to fill classes but it’s a nice feeling when the judge says the nice things they did!

Some highlights include a Best of Breed on Friday with Hidden Creek’s Desert Camo and Hidden Creek’s R***r winning best of winners Saturday. The judge was so impressed with how good he looked especially given that R***r just turned 9 years old. He said he was a great example of the breed because you could tell he could still work all day and he looked good.

It was great to get back out showing and see all our friends!

Looking for a farm / ranch / active companion style home for a very playful spayed female about 1.5 yrs old. She prefers a home she can be with her people and not just locked up outside. She does super with male dogs and some female dogs, but not good with strong alpha female dogs.

We will be VERY picky about where she goes as she was already let down by past families through no fault of her own! Happy to discuss more with interested parties!

Good info as we get asked this all the time! If you can WAIT until they are full grown before spay or neuter! But have safe practices to prevent unwanted pregnancies.

If it is not a dog we have bred, we are happy to do our best and assist you and take a Catahoula (or mix) pending we have or can make room, or assist you in finding the dog a suitable home.

We apologize for not being very active lately! Its a full time job running a ranch, making hay, training horses, raising cows, and chasing a toddler - oh yeah and I have a full time "real" job as well 🤣

Feeling nostalgic today and looking back on some of our pups, this is the beautiful Delilah and Frida Rose with our friends at . They have not one, but TWO pups from us, and might be as crazy in love with the breed as we are. Their girls are almost full siblings, same mom, different dads but their dads are brothers. Both so similar but so different. We are truly blessed to have wonderful friends and wonderful dogs. #

“Scar” is still looking for his forever family. Named for the obvious scar on his forehead and top of his head. He has had these since birth. He was the runt but you could never tell it now. “Canyon” enjoying life in Arizona! From his new owner:

“He’s grown so much in just these three weeks! I decided to name him Canyon. We’ve done some camping and swimming and hiking (all at a puppy’s speed) and some training too. He’s smart as heck and learns every new training pretty much immediately. Today we started doing some scent training with just the basics of “go find your peanut butter kong” and he crushed it. It’s going to be really fun finding ways to keep him challenged.”

We love these kind of updates and look forward to seeing all these pups grow and develop in their homes!
