Did you know he once cancelled a trip to London to accept a lifetime achievement award to be with his pet, his beloved German Shepherd, who was ill.
A great man, loving and generous, down-to-earth and simple, especially for a world-renowned industrialist, was an animal lover above all! From a young age itself! We know from the numerous projects the Tata Group launched for pet welfare, the Tata Trusts Small Animal Hospital just opened, and from the haven that Bombay House and the Taj Palace hotel have come to be for the community dogs of SoBo.
Humility and compassion went beyond to all living beings, for the late Ratan Tata, and his rewards now lie up with the One Above. Rest well, Sir. 💐 🙏🏻

Champion recovers

We commend the spirit of Champion, a mutilated stray dog who despite the atrocious and disgusting cruelty meted out to him by a vile person, is fighting his way back to life, with the help of animal-lovers like ANIMALS MATTER TO ME (MUMBAI), John Abraham and others who have left no stone unturned for his recovery. We hope the culprits are brought to justice soon.
