Alexandra and Dallas Presley rescued their dogs, Sasha & Sophie in 2014. They both suffered from chronic ear infections and itchy skin for months even while taking various medications. It was suggested by their vet that Sasha and Sophie be switched to a hypoallergenic diet due to discovered food allergies and intolerance. Alexandra was already a huge fan of the Paleo diet and decided to share her love of its positive digestive benefits with her girls. Experimenting with allergy friendly ingredients to create healthy paleo and organic dog treats became a passion that lead to the founding of Paleo's Pet Treats in September 2015. At Paleo’s Pet Treats we are dedicated to making delicious, baked dog biscuits and treats. We use simple recipes containing only ingredients that are natural, paleo and organic. Our treats are made in Poulsbo, Washington and we source all of our ingredients from local farms and companies in the Pacific Northwest. This means we know exactly who we are buying from and fully trust the quality and freshness of our ingredients. We promise to never use any chemicals or preservatives that could harm your pup. Our organic handmade dog biscuits and treats contain no grains, gluten, dairy, wheat, corn, soy, tree nuts, or peanuts and are vegetarian. They are also sugar, salt and preservative-free! Additionally, our company is committed to helping animals in need and donates 5% of our net profit to charitable organizations supporting animal rescue. Our dog biscuits and training treats are USDA Certified Organic by the Washington State Dept. of Agriculture and Certified Paleo by the Paleo Foundation.
