Nelina here…. Mom got a call from the fjord rescue Monday night that there was a fjord a couple hours away that had already been through one low end auction and was in danger of going through another. Mom agreed to pick her up and foster her, giving her a safe quiet place to land. Of course, I was thrilled to see another fjord walk off the trailer, I love all my fjordie sisters!! Everyone, meet Spruce Hill Libby, she’s 24 years young and super nice. Mom says she has to stay in quarantine for at least a couple of weeks, I can’t wait to welcome my new sister into the herd!

Fjordie friends! You need some fjord fjreshies (extra j added by me, cause we always a need extra j’s) for your truck that you KNOW smells… ahem…. You even get to pick the smells and the color for decorations! She can make greys too for you grey fjord owners!

Last week was a whirlwind! I took mom and my little brother, Finn, to my absolutely favorite event… The National Drive! I took them on a tour of the park several times and even took Finn in the Carriage Dog Parade!

Busy couple of weeks for a wonder pony like me…. I stole the hunter show a couple weeks back by taking champion in hunter over cross rails and cross rails equitation!! I’m showing all those big warmbloods how we do it pony style!

This past weekend, I took mom to a show that had jumping AND driving (my favorite thing)! I totally rocked at, as you would expect from a queen like me! Sadly, nobody got video of me showing everyone how it’s done between the shafts, but I put my dressage knowledge to use doing leg yields at a trot to make sharp turns through an obstacle course!

Since mom and I have been doing dressage and other things for years and … well, all that’s fun, but I really wanted to try JUMPING! So mom finally agreed and this weekend we went to our first hunter/jumper show…. I had a blast once mom stopped having constant panic attacks at these “massive” jumps (she’s so silly)! I can’t wait until she takes me to another!! And look how cute I am!

I took mom to a horse show today and showed everyone how it’s done! Plenty of naps in my hay bag between classes too!

I attempted to teach my baby sister the ropes of being a driving horse today…. She attempted to turn around backwards… several times…. I have more teaching to do it would seem…. Mom says I made a mighty fine anchor in my refusal to join in on the shenanigans.
