2/22 - This week will be a very special class to honor my family's rescue dog, Henry, who passed from a sudden illness on 8 Feb.
Henry was adopted from Texas Star Rescue in 2013. He was born with an imperfect front leg which caused him to have mobility issues and had an illness as a puppy which left him with scars on his face. He bounced around a lot during his early years as he had a hard time finding a forever home due to his disability and despite his handsome looks. He found a safe place to call home with my family. We are forever grateful to the rescue for letting Henry come into our lives.
This week's class will be by donation and 100% of donations will benefit Texas Star Rescue so they can continue their mission to help dogs like Henry. Donations can be cash, check (made directly to Texas Star Rescue), or Venmo. If you are unable to attend, but still would like to donate, please contact me.
Class will focus on movements to promote mobility and flexibility as well as build a mind-body connection. Class will be taught barefoot, but you are welcome to wear socks, grippy socks, ballet shoes, or whatever you feel most comfortable in. Please bring a mat with you as we will be incorporating floorwork into the routine.
As always, fitness class is held at the Dave Ragnacci School of Dance every Thursday at 6:30pm. Each week is a new class to keep you challenged! No need to sign up, just show up! All levels are welcome!! Please contact me if you have any questions. See you there!!
NOTES:
- There will be no class on 29 Feb. Classes will resume on Thursday, 7 March.
