Maui is a 10 week old poodle pup that I will be taking in to get him the life saving medical care he needs to survive. Maui family is unable to get him the medical treatment needed to survive. Maui is very loved by his family and they want him to live a happy normal life. I have been retired from rescue but when I saw Maui and read his story I just had to reach out and help. I hope You will join

me in this journey and help me get this little guy a chance to love and be loved. Maui has a cleft pallet and will need surgery in order to live a normal life. Maui is on a liquid bottle diet and has to be fed slowly and carefully so the food taken in does not go to his lungs. At 10 weeks Maui is still the on liquid diet that has to be fed by bottle. As we know nutrition has to be high priority to get him ready for surgery. The owner received estimates of 2000-3000 for the surgery and I have no doubt with consults it will this high. Any money raised will go directly to Maui care. I will update daily on progress and care. If for chance all the funds are raised and there is more than needed the remainder will be donated to the Humane Animal Welfare Society who has graciously offered any support we may need in this long journey. Maui has made it to 10 weeks old because of the love and dedication his family has given him. You will not only be saving Maui you will be restore the hope his family has for him.
