Now that Rose is a Silver Grand Champion, I plan to retire her from the ring. She if five years old which is still young but I am going to concentrate on putting a championship on her daughter, Sassy.

As of todays x-ray, Lilly is confirmed to be carrying 8 puppies due Friday October 13. The Sire is Soraj Prince Of Thieves. Lily's registered name is Onora Spitfire. Update! Enya started her season before Lily started her's. But she stopped half way through. She has done this once before and we expect her to begin her season again soon.

We are planning on a summer breeding between Grand Champion Bronze, Best In Specialty Show Cairncross The Sting At Onora (Asher) and Champion Onora Rose's Enya Lipstick (Enya). If all goes as planned (it seldom does) the Irish Setter puppies will be 8 weeks old in Early November.

After spending two nights in Centennial Wyoming with our good friends Jan and Paul we headed for the harvest host place to stay at the classic car museum in Kearny NE. Then the next night on the Brownville Nebraska or we spent the night at a harvest host location called whiskey ring Creek winery. What great places to stay. Today were in Cahokia Illinois just over the river from St. Louis.

We kept Orange Boy and Red Girl as we were not sure if we would keep a boy or girl from this litter. We decided not to keep the boy simply because he is a boy and we have three intact girls. We are looking for a good home for him - preferably a show home.
