Belle is on a new pain killer and is more spry than she has been in months. Yea!

Today's funny story is I (Mom) was in my art studio working on my computer, and Belle came in to whine at me. I thought she might need out to go potty. Nope! She wanted me to come sit on the couch so I could be close while she finally finished her breakfast. 😂 I'm glad she asks me to protect her from absolutely nothing and everything all at once. ❤️

Mom here. Belle is afraid of the shower, but likes to go outside and stand in the rain as long as not thunder. Today, she was more excited to be near me than she was afraid of the shower. She walked right in and whined at me. I was shocked! I said, "hi! What's up? Do you know you're in the shower?" She looked around, sighed heavily, then calmly walked out. (We have a walk in shower.) I was so surprised! All I could do was quietly giggle. She decided it would be better to lay on the nearby dog bed and wait patiently for me to finish my morning routine. I guess the love for Mom conquers most fears at some point. ❤️

Belle has been having very vivid running dreams for the past several months. I hope they're fun happy dreams. Her past before we got her was not the kindest. Sometimes after a dream like this she's fine, and others she needs a bit of reassurance. I'm all too glad to give her a cuddle when that happens. ❤️
