Hello, Sweet Fern friends! We are officially announcing the end of Sweet Fern Puppies and our breeding program. Circumstances have drastically changed for our family, and we are simply unable to keep up with the program the way we would want to. We apologize to everyone who was hoping for a future pup from us. We understand how disappointing this may be. If you paid an application fee and never got a chance at a pup, please contact us directly via Facebook Messenger so that we can get a refund to you. Thank you for your understanding. Most of all, we thank the families who have supported us from Day 1 and have made our dogs a part of your families! We wish you all many years of happiness together. 💖

Ms Pink and Mr Blue taking a well deserved nap in the sun after play time with visitors as two of our puppies went home today.

Mr Blue is a chonky sweetheart, the largest of the litter and has a heart of gold (and so jaunty with his apricot left ear!), often found curled up at my feet during play time. Ms Pink loves attention and is a calm, thoughtful sweetiepie- with her eyes of almost blue.

Puppy Play Time! Tonk's is an outstanding Mommy and these chonky, bumbly puppies are starting to wean ...and have a LOT more energy. While they are starting solid food they still love to play with Mom! Tonks is a bit torn between wanting to play, her concern that all the puppies are out of the whelping box, and afraid of being mobbed by that pack of cuteness! If you are on our wait list, check your email!

For those newer to Sweet Fern, we do expect all of this litter to be homed from our current wait list, but stay tuned for potential litters in 2023!

One of the Guardian Family opportunities we have is for our newest Bichon, Cosette, AKA “Cosi”! Guardian Families are forever families to pups who are a part of our program! Cosi’s Guardian Family will get to watch Cosi grow up and go through all of her health testing, and ultimately become a mama if all goes well! Cosi is already crate trained and well on her way to being housetrained! Guardian families must live within about an hour and a half of the greater Albany area. We also have an adult Cavachon female and male Bichon available! Yes, this really is the Sweet Fern Puppies account! 😂 So why the farm pictures? I wanted to take a moment to update everyone and apologize for our radio silence! We went straight from our busiest puppy season yet into one of our busiest times of year for the farm! For those who don’t know, our pups are raised on our small family farm that was a dream we fulfilled almost two years ago—! The last month has been a blur of starting seeds, planting flowers, hatching and brooding rare breed chicks, ducklings and goslings, and last night, welcoming our first goat kids! We’ve been busy with puppy goodness behind the scenes too—we’ll be back with more pupdates very soon! Thanks for your patience during this busy time!!
