In today's world, we are blessed to be able to have the technology readily available to us so that we can learn about anything, anywhere, anytime. I began researching the ingredients in my pets' foods and treats. I was disappointed in what I thought were top notch foods. I wanted to know all that I could so that I could begin home cooking for my dogs. After many hours of research, and approval from our veterinarian, I finally had what I thought was the perfect fresh meal for our pets. I was crock potting chickens and cutting vegetables and basically cooking more for our dogs than for us! Then we adopted our beautiful German Shephard puppy Diamond Pearl" and soon I was up to deboning 6 chickens a week! I knew that with our family's busy homeschool schedule, and her growing like crazy, I would not be able to keep this up.
