Spay and neuter vouchers went out today! 🎉🐶

Thanks to their owners doing the right thing, there will be less dogs and cats contributing to pet overpopulation! Every litter stopped can help end the needless deaths and suffering of homeless pets.

Yesterday we sponsored neuter surgery for Lucky, a sweet and goofy doggo from OCAPS!

Lucky is about a year old, heartworm negative, walks good on leash, is good with other dogs, and loves eveyone he meets!

Yesterday was Bina's (formerly Sabrina) one year gotcha day!

Bina was with us for almost a year before she found the most perfect family! We took her in as a skinny, heartworm positive girl who just needed to be shown a little love to thrive!

Her family sent us an update yesterday that we wanted to share. Bina spends her days playing with her doggo brother, Rio, (who was also adopted), exploring, traveling coast to coast with her family, and living the life she deserves!

"One year ago today we were graced with the delivery of this delightful love bug (Mini [Bam]Bina, aka Bean, formerly Sabrina) whose life would never have intersected with ours without the love and dedication of you, Trishy, Jen, and H&PAA. We are eternally grateful to you, and while Rio occasionally is "tormented" by love bug turned "snarlasaurus" he likely wouldn't know what to do without his "Dora the explorer" side kick.
Thank you for the daily dose of love, joy, and happiness that is embodied in the smallest Dobie with the biggest heart we've ever had the pleasure of sharing our life with!❤️❣️🫂❤️❣️"

Part of fostering involves exposing the dogs to daily life - and in some foster homes that means meeting the really big dogs (aka horses) 🐴. Cherry wasn't phased at all and even though she's little, she thinks she's just as large as the resident horses. 😁

We are always in need of fosters. We do have an application where we ask questions to make sure we can put the right dog with the right home. We want to make sure that these guys are set up for success and that we're doing everything in our power to make sure they are loved and cared for while they wait for their forever homes. 🥰

There are so many dogs at our local pounds and shelters that we would love to help, but we need a place for them to go first. As a foster-based rescue, we rely on the hearts of animal lovers to help us in our mission by fostering an animal in need until they are either adopted locally, or are able to transport to one of our northern rescue partners when they have room.

Arlo and Nash busted out of the pound on Sunday and are settling into their foster home!
As a foster-based rescue we can only pull dogs that we have foster homes for. Fosters are the backbone of our organization and we are so thankful for those that we have ❤️

Addie and Arlo took the no puppies pledge this week and will be heading to their foster families in the next few days! ❤️

Even with these two finding foster homes, there are many more in our local pounds and shelters that we would love to get out, but we need a place for them to go first. When you foster through us, we supply everything you need including food, toys, treats, a crate, and we pay for all of the medical care needed while they are in our care. Foster homes provide a safe, loving, and patient home.

Our sweet Bowie hitched a ride on the puppy bus this morning headed to the east coast and his forever home. 💕 Bowie is headed to our friends, Last Hope K9 Rescue, and they will make sure he finds the most perfect home for this precious little guy. 🥰

Big thanks to Brenda who was able to get him to Little Rock this morning and his foster family for opening their home to a pound puppy. 🐕
