Message from Finder: This sweet girl is Ester ❤️ I picked her up from City of Mobile Animal Services on 1/3/2025 to foster her until her owners are found or she is adopted. She’s an amazing senior pup! She’s very well behaved, well groomed and clearly well fed. 😊 She is potty trained, walks well on a leash, crates well to ride in a car and will even sit or shake for treats.

Because she’s such a good girl, I’m sure she was someone’s pet who is probably missing her very much! It makes me sad to think that person who lost her might not be on Facebook or other social media so they can’t find their missing dog.

She was found at the intersection of Cottage Hill and Dawes. Another Facebook user also said they saw a flyer looking for her at the Walgreens on the corner of Cottage Hill and Dawes. When I picked her up to foster, I went by that Walgreens to see if I could help contact the owner. The missing flyer has been removed and replaced with another sign that says “Found-senior female beagle- She has been taken to City of Mobile Animal Shelter.” I don’t know if the person who replaced the sign contacted the owner or if the owner will check their signs.

Her adoption hold will be up in a few days so I just wanted to make one last effort to find the owners before she is permanently adopted. If anyone lives in that area and possibly sees any lost dog signs, knows the owners or heard anything about a missing senior beagle, please reach out! 🐶❤️

Awhile back this group helped me find my mom's missing dog and she found a new
However now the new owner said she quit eating and ran off.
My mom lost her not too long ago and is still working on getting her new place fixed up. it was a bit of a mystery how she was given to a rescue and then ended up in someone's yard that was now her new .
Now it's a mystery to where she has gone.
But my mom is sad and wants to bring her dog or atleast make sure she's okay. She had surgery awhile back on her stomach for an obstruction and maybe that's why she stopped eating or she was depressed that my mom could no longer care for her. Its a mystery. She's not microchipped. Please keep an eye out anywhere in Theodore for Mocha just incase she may have ran far looking for food or shelter.
I am keeping an eye out on the county shelter at intakes.

Message from Finder: This guy is definitely missing his family! I found him around 2:30PM today outside of the Ashville subdivision in the middle of Cottage Hill Rd. He has no collar and is not microchipped, but is very well maintained. Very friendly guy!
