Ohio Fuzzy Pawz Shih Tzu Rescue We rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home Shih Tzu and other small breed dogs into permanent adoptive homes. We do adopt outside Ohio, but we do not ship our dogs.

Adopters must be prepared to come to Ohio to finalize the adoption. Our dogs come from a variety of situations. High kill shelters, owner turn-ins, and cast-offs from puppy mills. We get their medical needs assessed and treated. Our foster homes then work with the dogs to get them placed in a home that best meets their needs. We do not operate a shelter. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes

as part of a family environment. Our foster homes perform a critical function of rehabilitating their foster dogs so that they are adoptable.

The Butterfly Nations Animal Event at BrewDog Canal on Sunday was certainly a wet one. Two storms rolled through. The second one lasted the entire time we were tearing down. Needless to say, we were all soaked.

A very special THANK YOU goes out to Cathie, Karen, Michele and Dawn for enduring the storm and helping the entire event.

We appreciate everyone that came out to visit and support Ohio Fuzzy Pawz. Mr. Ziggy and his family stopped by and introduced themselves. It was nice to meet and see every one.

Appreciate that Cheryl and Jackie committed to bringing their foster dogs to this event.
