Do you remember Ramses???

He was tied to a tree with only a food bowl and due to that… He developed resource gardening and he didn’t have a lot of trust for anyone…

Melissa our CEO worked with him one on one where even she had to ask her volunteers not to come to the sanctuary because he would not allow anyone inside other than Melissa…

Melissa did one on one with Ramses and even invited him into her home to show him how to be a house dog…

Once he started to adjust, we started doing meet and greets… which resulted into him being adopted into a farm property with an amazing guy named Eric!

Here’s an update photo of Ramses of Christmas 2024 🥰🥰🥰

Today Santa met ALOT OF DOGS today!!!!
And we have so many more Coming tomorrow!! 2-5 PM! At RENS PETS IN PETERBOROUGH!

(People that came into shop today are bringing their dogs tomorrow)

Our secret with our Santa that he’s actually one of our board members 😉 so he’s great with the furry ones !

Stop by tomorrow to create a furever holiday memory! If you pet doesn’t like Santa, we can do a photo with just our Christmas back drop!

‼️TOMORROW AND SUNDAY IS OUR LAST SANTA PHOTOSHOOT WITH PETS!‼️

📍Location is REN'S PETS in Peterborough!

🕰️Saturday- 11-3PM
AND
Sunday 3-5pm

Also there will be a RENS gift basket WITH a $100 gift certificate for “Trattoria Gusto” (an Italian themed restaurant in a 19th century historic hotel in downtown Port Hope) for a Silent auction!

This is being taken inside the store so this will be happening rain or snow!

$10 donation for photos!

Thank you to everyone that participates in our fundraiser as these proceeds will go towards our 2025 missions to rescue dogs in need!

Dear friends,

Many of you already might know, we had to “restart” all of our social media accounts, as we “lost” them this time last year! 😳 Ugh.

It was a HUGE disappointing blow for the gang, considering how hard they have worked over the past few years!

We are currently ONLY 46 people away from reaching our goal! Our Artists would love to celebrate this accomplishment with a pizza party in January 🍕
