💔😿 We are deeply saddened to share the heartbreaking news that our beloved kitty friend, Howie, has unexpectedly passed away in his sleep, just 11 days after our last visit.
We are incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to spend time with Howie recently, spoiling him and showering him with love. We are delighted to announce that, thanks to the incredible support of our clients, community members, and businesses, we were able to raise an outstanding $645 in cash donations. Additionally, we received $340 in online donations and a $50 Walmart gift card, bringing the grand total to $1,033 for Fairy Tails Rescue with Daisy Care’s 2nd Annual Daisy Care 4 ME Fundraiser: Helping Paws for a Cause 🐾💗! Your contributions will make a significant impact on this year's chosen 501c3 Maine Animal Rescue, and we cannot thank you enough for your generosity.
Thank you to my number one supporter, Robert Cormiea Jr., as always for helping to keep my head on straight and my spirit up when feeling down, defeated, or frustrated. And for dedicating so much time to help make my dreams come true. For all those who have never participated in making a fundraiser event happen the work is no joke and each year I am continuing to learn something new.
We want to thank all our family, friends, and clients (who let’s face it -are more like friends 🥰) who helped in getting things together, gathering donations, reaching out to places for donations, distributing flyers, letting us borrow tables, offering their assistance to help set up and take down. The outpouring amount of support was astounding to see and truly appreciated.
While we certainly faced some challenges with so many local companies and restaurants not caring to give us the time of day or the common courtesy of a polite response we were able to shine through and make things happen with all the amazing folks and companies who did and we will always remember their kindness when doing or referring business in the future!
A special shout out goes to Paul Lorrain and his staff at Funky Bow Brewery and Beer Company for graciously hosting us during the busy holiday weekend! It was an absolute pleasure and we are so honored to have been invited back! T
