Important Update from Daisy Care Pet Services

Today’s extreme weather conditions, with temperatures feeling like only 8° due to the freezing winds, have prompted me to prioritize the safety of your beloved pets. As such, dog walks will be limited to short potty breaks only.

On a personal note, I am saddened to share that my grandfather passed away early this morning. 💔 In light of this, I will be rescheduling all visits that can be postponed to a later date. For those visits that are absolutely essential, I will ensure quick potty breaks followed by extra love and treats. Life is short, and today I’m taking a moment to cherish what truly matters.

Pup-dates for pet visits will be kept brief. I will disconnect from work communications—texts, emails, and questions—over the weekend and will update you all on any additional dates or times I may need off as details arise for my grandfather’s services.

Here are a few flashback moments of my grandfather. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. His best friend, Max, was furry and sprite and the brother to that of my Daisy. My grandfather thought Max deserved the world and made sure to give him that! A shotgun rider at heart, he was also a table scrap snacker (shhh, mind your business) and a cuddle companion who could heal any worries.

He loved to golf and tried to teach me the mastery of the art, though I had zero patience! He taught me to care for my car and enjoy the finer things, like smooth, slow rides around the ocean road bends. He loved to laugh and always had a smile. Sometimes he didn’t say much, but his presence was enough; other times, you couldn’t get him to stop telling stories. For what I would give for another one of those long, winding stories that now feel much more joyful.

You are already missed so much, Grampy. We love you. In his memory, please hold up your best watery drink—his choice was Miller Lite. Here’s one for you, Grampy, and give those dogs extra cuddles and treats! 😢❤️
