Scooter is loving every moment of the shore .. he even wanted to go outside on the balcony. And ….Guess who has his new Z/D food and is eating it (the big test will be when he comes off his appetite stimulant)… he’s still on gabapentin, appetite stimulant, an anti-nausea med but he’s starting to perk up !!! As mom-mom said, she’s starting to see the sparkle come back in his eyes 💕💕. Please keep the positive thoughts and prayers coming !!

Headed down the shore with momma for the week ! I ate dry food twice today, had pumpkin , churu, wet food … I moved around, basked in the sun .. still have smelly diarrhea… I have my nausea, appetite stimulate transdermal, pain meds and probiotics in me.. hopefully the sea salt air will also perk me up!

Thanks to my husband who drove over an hour to get the appetite stimulant , scooter is finally back to eating wet food !! He stopped completely eating or drinking yesterday afternoon and didn’t eat or drink anything until 5pm tonight… We started with Churu and science diet I/d.. he won’t touch dry food, is still suspicious about when he’s getting medication and we finally snuck a probiotic into a Churu and he couldn’t tell because he has diarrhea… baby steps 💕

Please continue to send prayers and positive thoughts for scooter. He went for another ultrasound because he isn’t eating and he’s throwing up. Once again, we see small intestinal thickening with fat and enlarged lymph nodes.. they also sample some of the lymph nodes via a fine needlework aspirates. We won’t know what the results will be for another 5 days. Scooter is on plenty of meds but now he’s staging a coo to eat anything. He smells the food, but then turns away. He stays in his shark hut all day. Hoping a change of scenery down the shore will help this weekend … we are keeping auntie Deanna informed in real time as to what’s going on .. I’m staying close watch over scooter, especially at night, and Michaels headed over to the pet store to find all sorts of different foods and treats to get him to eat.

I would like to give a special shout out to my mom-mom, as today is her birthday. She is extremely special to me as she too, has watched me grow up and taken good care of me when mom and dad are away. She also gives me treats when mommy isn’t looking ! She means a lot to me and I hope she knows it 💕

Mommas back from her work trip and I am starting to feel better ! I’m on nausea meds and an appetite stimulate and I am eating more (of course).. the test will be when I come off the medication. I also will get an ultrasound done soon as well. P.S. - I heard it was my brothers last day of school for the summer …. I hope this goes by quick because I like the peace and quiet 🤣

Since mommas in Canada for work, I’m in great hands with mom-mom and dad. Dad took me to the vet yesterday and they think I’m just nauseous (but hopefully I get an ultrasound done this Wednesday) .. I’m on more medication and an appetite stimulate. I weight 9.6 pounds now, which is a good weight for me, since I needed to lose weight, but not this way. Mom-mom said the appetite stimulate is kicking in and I’m starting to eat more again … we will keep you posted !

Scooter here, providing my next update. So my test came back negative for UTI but now I’ve become extremely picky about my food. Because of this, I’ve lost weight but then again it depends on how much. My diapers have gotten bigger on me, mom mommom and dad have been going out and finally found a food he will eat , but still, barely. It’s time to order an ultrasound on his tummy to see what’s up. So , stay tuned !

Hi everyone! We are so sorry for any delays in responses to messages, post, etc.
Besides balancing family/ work life, and now the holiday weekend down the shore, scooter is still under the weather and this time it’s his stomach. He is usually all excited to be here but as you can see from the photo, he’s not feeling well. He’s taking Cerenia for anti nausea, using different prescription food, but he’s just picking at it … we are watching him closely and keeping his auntie Deanna posted.. please bear with us while there is a delay in any response..
Also, we truly want to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for the presents, cards, and birthday wishes !!! It really means a lot to us !!

Momma, mom-mom and Alexander dropped me off at Auntie Deanna’s vet this morning at 9am( my visit had to switch until today).. I was very patient (and nervous) but they were able to pick me back up around 4:15pm. We are driving back down to the shore (2 1/2 hours away)… needless to say it’s been a long day however, I have good news ! My blood clot is gone !! However, there’s something brewing in my urine again (we suspect another UTI).. sigh… my urine is being sent out for another test so stay tuned. We are just relieved to know the clot is gone !!
The first picture below is me being brave and getting my ultrasound done. They liked my blue diaper 💕.. thank you aunt Deanna and the vet for taking such good care of me. Now, I’m relaxed on my gabapentin and driving back down to the seagulls !!

So I always celebrate my birthday again with my mom on her birthday (usually during dinner). This year we celebrated early this morning because later on today, I go back to Auntie Deanna’s vet to get my checkup on the blood clot before I meet mom down the shore (where we will celebrate our birthdays all weekend long 💕). Mommy and mom-mom really outdid themselves this year !! Also, I want to give a special shout out to my fan who sent me this beautiful card for my birthday!!! 💕💕

With my new tent from Mommom for my birthday, I'm ready for a shore adventure, all snug and cozy, listening to the soothing sounds of the sea (while they are at the beach or the Waterpark, I like to camp out in the room). 🌊🏝️🏖️

Hold on to hope, my friends! This weekend, I returned to auntie Deanna's vet and was glad to see that the blood clot is decreasing in size, even though it has yet to vanish completely. We are going to hold off for three more weeks, staying optimistic that the clot will disappear. We would prefer going this route over the surgical procedure which would require hospitalization and a catheter.. please continue positive thoughts and prayers. We will keep you posted as we can.

Imagine getting a salon-like experience from the comfort of your home, thanks to the pet hair dryer that works its magic post-bath! And yes, I do enjoy every moment of it. It’s super quiet and it has a cool setting. It only takes about 5 minutes to do 😎

Hi all! Scooter here providing you an update..
So, I’m doing well (knock on wood).. dad has to schedule my two week appointment with auntie Deanna’s vet for my check up to see if my blood clot has disappeared.. I’m down to one medication now .. I’m moving much more (cus momma won’t let me on the couch for fear of jumping off and possibly breaking up a blood clot, which could block me from going potty)… so mom can see and feel that I have lost weight. She’s hoping it’s due to me moving way more than a medical issue …
Other than that, I am smelling the air outside, eating out of my sisters bowls, trying to rough house with my siblings, begging for more treats… the usual 😊

Together with Momma, I excitedly anticipate the coming of the Easter Bunny and the magic it brings.
She gave me my last round of medication for the night, so we are quietly sitting together, relaxing on the heating pad, before she takes me up to bed.

Hey everyone. We could use some extra prayers these next couple of weeks.. Dad took me to my aunts vet yesterday because I started peeing out straight blood and I smelled like ammonia. It turns out I have a blood clot in my bladder …. They monitored me all day long and then sent me home with 3 medications - we are praying that the medication breaks up the blood clot. In the meantime, I am on bed rest for a while, no cart, harness, etc.. I have to be supervised 247/ watched over to check the make sure I’m going potty… we are going with this approach first. If this does not break it up after i go back for another scan, i will go under for surgery to break up the clot.. we hope you can respect these next few weeks of very little posts, as mom and dad need to really focus on me and my health. I am even traveling with mom and dad to their relatives house for Easter, so it’s going to be very busy for us right now. We will keep you posted as much as we can, but any extra prayers and thoughts would be appreciated right now.

Happy Monday !!! I heard the Easter bunny is coming soon !!! I’m so excited !!! Also, today, I get my second laser therapy appointment done at the vet 💕
Finally I want to give a shout out to one of my fans who went me greenies, as now I constantly ask momma for treats when she enters the kitchen 😂… we really appreciate the kind gesture ! 💕

Mommy got me a new cat scratcher for down the shore
Mommy had to turn her work office / gym to a work office/ cat room 🤦♀️… it’s less stressful for me (and more fun) because I’m around mommy and not my brother (it may be that my little brother is causing me too much stress - which can lead to the bleeding/ thickened bladder wall I am experiencing and not actually a UTI)… I got another culture done and an ultrasound so we are awaiting the results … currently, as my bladder wall has thickened, I have been given buprenorphine so I am definitely feeling good right now … so good that I want to push my sisters buttons and boop her on the head.
