Hi everyone! I haven't posted in so long, my hu-mom&dad keep me really busy with my husky sister (who still drives me crazy by the way). I still have glaucoma but my dad takes great care of me so I can still see OK. I've lost a lot of weight lately too so I'm feeling great ! Not too bad for a 10 year old eh?

Hi everyone, it's me, Mika! I wanted to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers when I had my surgery a couple of weeks back! I did well, I got my stitches out, and I'm feeling more like myself now! I still have glaucoma I'm dealing with, but I think I'm looking pretty good on this beautiful day outside, what do you think? :).

Thanks, everyone for thinking of me. I'm still confined to my crate most of the day and I am sad and still sore. I can't walk around much, even though I want to. I don't get my stitches out for 11 more days (There are a lot of them!). :(. Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts and I hope I can have a cheezeburgah soon :)

Update on Mika: She's been pretty uncomfortable and the last 2 days have been tough, but, she seems to be a bit better today, so far! She's been confined to her crate, so maybe that's helping. She isn't eating yet, but today will try again! Thank you all so much for thinking of her and keeping her in your thoughts and prayers - it works!!

I’m home after my surgery. Not feeling my best yet but thanks for all the good thought and prayers! It really helps!! Mom says I have to stay in the crate for a few days because I keep yelping when I move because my stitches hurt.

Asking for some prayers please. Mika has bladder stones and a lot of them. We have no idea how they developed, but they are large and one was blocking her yesterday. Thank God, they were able to get her to pass it, but she almost needed emergency surgery. She is having surgery tomorrow (Thursday 3/10) and we'd love some prayers and happy thoughts for her for a smooth, successful surgery! Poor little Mika, she's had it rough lately between glaucoma and now this. Prayers for "Meeks" please

Mumz had this meeks restin so she hasn't let me post in a whilez because I got sick with some eye trouble. My humom + dad tell me I haz Glaucoma, they are sad. I hopez I'm gonna be ok though, they are takin' care of me. They say I can't drive anymore which makes me sad because I really needz a cheezeburgah. Humom + Dadz are hopin I don't lose my sight; so far I'm not blind and they are grateful for that. Now, wherez the cheeseburgahs? I thinkz I'm gonna head to Wendy's!

Sorry I haven't done any Shiba posts in a while but I've been getting in lots-a-trouble being bad to my new sister. The problem is, she's already way bigger than me...karma is tough. I've lost a pound or so from her chasing me, but I can't get these last 2 stubborn pounds off. If only my legs weren't so short!

Day 12-Shiba Log: The one they call my "little sister" is still here. I don't know why - not like I'll give her any cheeseburgers. And why is she always trying to play with me? Here are a few pictures my humom+dad are fawning all over. They tell me I'm beautiful but they call Gracie "adorable". What's so great about electric baby blues anyway? I'm a great brown-eyed-girl. Mom says we need an agent.

Hey everyone - good news and bad news. The good news is - my parents brought me home a little sister. The bad news is - my parents brought me home a little sister. I'm not sure about her yet but I'm definitely NOT sharing my cheezeburgahs. What do you think of her? Meet Gracie - she's a Siberian Husky - 9 weeks old now. They say we are in the same Canine family (Spitz) - but I'm just like - what is wrong with you? You act like a dog!! :)
