All of the sudden it was time to say our final goodbye to Cold 🖤

We are heartbroken. The pain is all too real. But losing him is still better than to not have had him in our lives. It was an honor to have such a dog. He was special in every way.

There is a saying that dogs with two different colored eyes can both see heaven and earth, and he was indeed a dog that could! With the years he showed me more and more of that. Until the point where we could understand each other without anything else than just the connection between him and me. And that to me has been heaven.

If green 💚 is your favorite color than Slovenia is THE place to be 🤩 Everything is so lush now!

🔬Research has shown that exposure to the colour green can reduce stress, improve mood, increase creativity, and enhance cognitive functioning. Add to that that in this case you are outside in nature and you will have double the effect 😇

Now the cows also get to enjoy this greenness, they have been brought to higher pastures now and went straight through our yard 😍

Happy 12th birthday my dear Cold! We celebrated in style in Sweden last weekend. For years I want to see how his reaction to wild boars would be 🐗 I wanted to do this at least once for him and finally we could make it happen. Being (one week shy of) 12 years old he did not disappoint ❤️The real speed was reserved for the youngsters, but the instinct kicked in and is there (at first he thought these brown things where really weird, do you see his hackles?! 😆). So grateful we got to do this!

After a really nice weekend, where we met some amazing people, and Cold and Zajra have shown some really nice work, our adventure slowly comes to an end and we are preparing to go back home 🇸🇮. Last 1,5 days we just chilled, the campsite is amazing enough to keep me here 🤩 the oldies enjoy their easy hikes and I got to do some running with Zajra 🏃🏻‍♀️🐕 A lot of cuddle time as well, comfortable for them, a little less comfortable for me 😅 how many cm’s do you think there is left for me to squeeze myself between them? 😂

We arrived in Sweden 🇸🇪 We are all very tired now 😅 it was really warm and it took more time than planned because the highway we were on was closed for a couple of hours. But smelling the ocean air after a long time is already worth it. Bengal has not forgotten she loves the sea so much 🦭 Grateful she gets to experience this once more 🙏
Now we are going to take a big nap and tomorrow the next adventure will start 🩸🐕🐗

Happy easter everyone 🐣 with great pride I can finally share the exciting news that Cold will hopefully be a daddy again!

I am thrilled for the combination of Xiva and him, I mean: look at them 😍 Sometimes things just fall into place and for us that is 100% with this combination.

Cold and Xiva are both very stable, social catahoulas with a calm character. They are very owner oriented and like to cuddle. Does this mean that they are lazy? No, certainly not. They both need sufficient challenge and exercise and are dogs who have an excellent nose. But the balance between being able to rest and being active and working is nicely present in both. We therefore expect that this will be reflected in the puppies.

In addition, we also think that they fit together well in terms of build. This is very important to us, not because it is necessarily about the appearance, but a well-built dog is also functional and can perform all the requested activities with ease, hopefully until old age!

For me a big bonus is that Xiva is m/m. That means there will hopefully also be some m/m pups, which are very rare these days 🤞

to when Cold was a teeny tiny baby Copperfield. It is hard to believe he was once so small and cute 🥰 It took a couple of days for Bengal to warm up to him, but after that they became best of buddies ❤️

I have decided this page will be inactive for now. Because of troubles with paperwork for Zajra I don't have the option of breeding (the way I want it - with a registered dog) anytime soon. I have not decided yet if I will remove it, or keep it, time will tell. I will also stop answering questions about breeding plans, because it is just not fun for me to keep explaining to people, but I do appreciate the interest people have shown!
