Tobias was found as a very young puppy in South Carolina with his littermates and mom. They were brought to a rescue organization in Wisconsin and treated for ailments. He was the runt of the litter, but we couldn't pass up his adorable face. Emma's story is a little less clear, and a bit more heartbreaking. She had been transferred to different shelters in different states, after living in what w

e can only assume was a terrible situation. When she made it to a rescue group in Wisconsin she was only 11 months old, terrified, too skinny, and had bald patches. With a lot of love, patience, and time - as well as help from her new big brother Tobias - Emma has flourished and grown into a beautiful dog. She is still timid of new people and afraid of loud noises, but she has made it leaps and bounds from having to be carried anytime she had to go outside. Together as a family we left Wisconsin in 2013 and headed to the West Coast. We lived in California until 2017, when we headed North to Washington.
