So pleased we made the most of yesterday’s lovely sunny weather and spent most of the day outside, as today was very soggy - we waited until the rain stopped but still got very muddy.

After returning from our own fabulous holiday it’s so nice to be welcoming back some old friends, including two of the smallest, Frankie and Emmi. They have such a fun time together.

We all got wet today….and some of us got muddier than others…but I think you can see from his expression just how happy that made Teddy! But we all had fun, which is what it’s all about!

Everything’s coming up Daisies! I’ve had two dogs with the same name on a few occasions, but three sharing a name was a first…
Daisy, Daisy, Daisy - I wonder if there’s a well known company that might like to sponsor us… three beautiful, fragrant Daisies!
And maintaining the floral theme, they’re joined in the second photo by a Poppy.

New Year, old friends.
Wishing a very happy New Year to all our friends, old and new. Of course, our old friends were new ones once. (Looking at you, Poppy, almost six and a half years since you scampered across the threshold but very much one of the family now) it’s always a pleasure to welcome our returning visitors.

Poppy and Frankie are experienced old hands when it comes to posing for photographs…Daisy…needs a bit more practice… it’s a case of ‘Catch me if you can’ as she zooms past!

Rosie loves playing in puddles! And we can often find them to oblige her! Sometimes with more success than others (see last photo…) The first photo was today, with Bramble in the frame too. The others were taken on previous visits over the time she has been visiting us (almost 3 years now)

It’s always a pleasure to welcome back lovely Dexter who’s been visiting us for almost 6 years now . The last photo is a flashback to Spring 2019. Hes such a happy and enthusiastic dog. Shown here enjoying walks with Bramble, Frankie and Diesel, all old friends he’s met during previous stays.

Misty, grey November day and realised looking back at my photos that Otto was here exactly a year ago too. And Dolly who was here with him on November 2 last year was also here on November 2 the previous year! Otto looks a little different- he’s just had a haircut!

I can’t believe that it’s 6 years since our beautiful Luna assisted GOdogs with their research. It’s fascinating to be involved and to feel that your dog is making a contribution to such important research. They are based at the Vet School at the University and if you have time I recommend the experience.

It’s 6 years to the day since lovely Poppy first joined us. Shes been visiting almost every week since. She’s got to know almost all of our other visitors and she really is one of our family now. No photo for September 2020 - we all remember those strange times.
