Our Story

Owner Amy Sparrow is a sought after pet sitter, known for her unconditional love and compassion of all animals. She is often contacted for advice on furkid behavior as she understands stressed, elderly and/or ill furkids and also the need to ensure everyone is happy when routines are changed. She is bonded and insured. Amy opened Furkid Sitting & Services in 2014 after 25 years in the medical, legal and insurance industries. Amy has been a dedicated volunteer with Cat Haven of Baton Rouge since 2008 and resides in Baton Rouge with her furkids. In August of 2018, after four successful years of pet sitting, Amy expanded her company to include additional pet sitters, allowing for more furkids to receive the individual and at home from which they thrive.
