Our Story
The Equine Ability program is brought to you by former Olympic hopeful/author/motivational speaker and brain injury survivor and MS warrior, Kimberly Carnevale. The program features riding lessons which include the trademarked Champion-Building skills which the founder of the program is renowned for. Champion-Building school assemblies, seminars, workshops and community entertainment, youth motivation and corporate leadership via equine assisted activities are also available.
The Equine Ability Program is a vision that was given to me many years ago, after horses helped me rehabilitate from a horrible accident. It is run on a very small, private facility in which we welcome others into our home in order to enjoy the incredible gifts that horses have to offer. We know the healing power that horses exude, and just want to bestow that to others in our community. *We are not a nonprofit organization---I am simply just a brain injury survivor and MS warrior who was healed by horses and wants to pay forward that gift as my ministry to others.
The program provides opportunities to local kids battling cognitive disabilities (brain injury, autism, etc) and other difficult life-situations to participate in equine assisted activities. Coming out to the farm gives them the gift of putting their issues on the back burner; for just a little while.
