💔We are deeply saddened to inform you that our beloved Zeppelin is not with us anymore.

As we all know, he has been battling with pretty much late stage cancer since the 4th of March 2023. On 10th March, early morning 1 or 2 am, Zeppelin's condition worsened. He was having immense pain even with the steroids medication, he couldn't sit or lay on his sides as the pain was constantly throbbing. He was really struggling with his breath as we could hear crackling sounds as he exhaled. The vet said there was liquid filled in his stomach as well. After witnessing this for almost 8-9 hrs, we took the tough call about Zeppelin. Just couldn't let him suffer like this as the cancer keeps making him worse day by day.

On March 10th 2023, 12 noon. The euthanasia procedure was administered by our Vet to Zeppelin.

Zeppelin's final rituals were on the same day, & his Asthi visarjan was done 11th March 2023.

A void has been left in our hearts as we have lost the primary reason for positivity in our lives, but life will go on. We will focus more on the best/happy memories of his life rather than this past month, & we'll keep him alive in our hearts.

The fb page & Insta account will keep posting memories from the past of our lil fur baby from time to time.

🛑 Critical Update about Zeppelin🛑

(This is to inform fans of the page about Zeppelin's current health condition.)

Zeppelin had fallen very ill around the 2nd Feb; recurring fever, anemia, lethargy, bloated/stiff stomach. After numerous visits to the vet & not finding the cause of his illness, we were then advised to do an ultrasound & CT scan as a last resort to figure out his exact issue. What we found from those test results is heartbreaking. Zeppelin has cancer, & it has spread to multiple organs (including his lungs). There is nothing much that can be done to get rid of the cancer. Our only option is to improve his quality of life by getting rid of his pain & suffering. So, steroids have been started the last two days. There is an improvement in his health for now, he's eating again, slowly gaining strength to move again, & much more responsive to us.
Sadly, this is all just temporary from the steroids & meds, & we will have to take the tough decision in the near future when his health deteriorates further.

🔴 Important Update about Zeppelin 🔴

With great pain & sadness, I want to inform all followers of the page that Zeppelin lost his vision in the left eye due to tick fever (Babesia Gibsoni).
He contracted it sometime in late 2021, & it went undetected all of 2022 until September, when symptoms showed up (cloudy retina & bloodshot left eye). Treatment for the tick fever was successful within 10 days, but the damage to the retina was already done.
On our first visit itself the eye specialist let us know that Zeppelin would not get his vision back in the left eye, but they could treat the eye enough to eliminate the need for enucleation. After 4 months of regular visits & medication, we've managed to get the eye pressure & bleeding in the retina to completely reduce.

Zeppelin is in good condition now, & we keep the left eye in check with daily eye drops.

Zeppelin has been a fighter all his life. From having skin issues since birth, his fall in 2017 that almost paralyzed him, hip dysplasia at the age of 9, & now losing vision in his left eye, he is still the same mischievous lil devil. He hasn't given up on life, & we won't give up on him.
