Millstones Golden... A glorious mess of gold and goofiness We want to begin by thanking you for visiting our page. We currently exhibit our dogs in UKC/IABCA.
We are a small hobby farm breeding AKC Golden Retrievers. All of our dogs are family members who participate in many of our daily activities. We take care to select only the best dogs for our breeding lines and also for exhibition.

Oh Solar, I told you not to play in the mud puddle, but yet you still did, and look where it got you!!!! We bath our our dogs at Pet Wants in Clarkston at the self bath stations. Mr. Joe is so nice, he cleans up all our hair and the water we shake all over the place. Plus, he has really cool, all natural treats.

Ms. Nella had a blast hanging out with Tucker and Todd for a week, even if Tucker tried really hard to get rid of her. This beautiful girl is growing up. She is so smart.

Ok, Millstone followers near Clarkston, Mi I have a special request. My favorite holiday of the year is Holloween and this year, Krys and I want to do a display with Skeltons and Skelton dogs. If you are at a Salvation Army and come across either and it is priced at around 25.00 please pick it up and I will come get it. If you have extra Skeltons hanging out that you will not be using this year and would like to loan us, please let me know. Can't wait to show you all what we come up with.

Our beautiful Nella is growing up. These babies grow up so fast, it seems like just yesterday, we drove to Toledo, OH to meet my girlfriend to get her. She is already 16 weeks and rocking her first week of her AKC STAR Puppy class with the Patient Trainer. If you have a puppy or dog you are thinking about training please don't wait. My beautiful Scuba turned 9 last week.
Our boy "Gator" turned 4 yesterday. I am not ready for him to be 4. Here is a video of the last 4 years.

So now that COVID is in our past, we are thinking of doing a Millstones Golden Reunion for all present and past owners (we want to see all of you, we miss you) just trying to figure out which month is good for everyone please.

We get asked a lot when is it a good time to teach a dog to swim. We try to introduce them to water at a early age. This is a video of “Splash’s introduction to water.
Dock jumping is in full force this weekend, lots of great pictures coming soon. Thank you Coach Karli for taking this of Gator.
So today we were up at Disc Dogs of Michigan with Canine Combustion doing AKC FastCat it is a form of Lure Coursing for any dog, big or small. We had the pleasure of running Crockett, Gator, Pearl and AKA we had so much fun. Pearl just needs one more run to earn her BCAT title she rocked it out today with running 24mph. Here is Crockett, you will have to excuse me yelling get it.
Homer my Land Shark is now a water shark look at him go.
