For the 3rd time asking for full disclosure of community funds that Friends of PACC paid to K. Hassen - Outcomes For Pets over 3 years, and who ordered (Dangler) & why was this done? Fee $20,000 - $100,000 speculated.
Friends added Hassen to their Board of Directors as a voting member after Hassen resigned. Over the top conflict of interest, as Friends then hired Hassen to consult at PACC 3 years.
Find out about connections of Riverside, Los Angeles & Pima Counties.
Hear about 's exploits and use of the good of PACC and PACC volunteers by Outcomes For Pets to sell shelters contracts for questionable consulting.
Yes, Monica Dangler's next employment is as a so called “foster program expert” with Hassen. Dangler’s indifference towards the never funded PACC Foster programs, fosters, and used fostering to hide PACC pets.
Today 1000 PACC pets are housed with foster volunteers without secure nutrition funding. ‘s doing to mislead Supervisors.
Updates to the disputed $2.6 million Riverside contract, and 2 lawsuits pending to Cancel the contract.

Safe from harm.
Leash up pups even in your own yard for potty breaks.
And it’s ok if an inside potty accident happens, hug and easy clean up - is far better than a lost terrifying experience for the pets we love. ❤️
Keep them inside - secure. Safe from harm.

In many ways, many are helpers generously giving and giving of time and resources to save pet lives. We adore following Dog Is My CoPilot, Inc.
Tatum pup 🛩️ into our lives, as helpers pull his sweet mug from a euthanasia shelter timeline, packed up, he and 70 other littles flew to Idaho from Long Beach, California.
Within 2 days he was home!!
14 years of joy, picky on who he adored, the best ever frisbee pro, and a foster kitten mentor: gentle ear licks.

I treasure.
Thank you to all the helpers, we estimate about 80+ volunteers and + donors that made my life richer with Tatum

This year has been one for the books! We faced challenges at every turn, but our hard-working team, our community of animal lovers, and amazing shelter partners showed up time and time again to help us complete an incredible year of life saving!

San Diego, California
Judge rules on controversial lawsuit Friday 12-20-2024.
Huge revelation that has nationwide implications.
Sadly companion cats and community cat lines were blurred by San Diego press /media, often confusing the public, volunteers and donors.
Involvement with National Animal Welfare Organizations and the growing concern of control over shelters with grants and “certification training” given involving shelter mid-upper leadership staff is real.
Does this affect Southern Arizona? Absolutely.

Riverside County, California umbrellas 4 large shelters.
A consultant’s 2.6 million contract is unraveling quickly, involving two past Pima County PACC directors.
One to follow.

Anyone here following the
San Diego case?
Options to share?
Does the outcome for all cats look good overall?
Discussions are healthy to keep true transparency within our life saving efforts. NKG

Note: Writer, Ed Boks, is best to read with other facts. In my opinion he doesn’t always do the research needed.
That said,
much of Mr Boks influential
Animal Politics writings are completely SPOT on.

Pima County needs many
Christmas🎄and beyond miracles. If possible please be a part of Pima Animal Care Center pet’s ongoing needs.
While Rodeo will always focused, support and advocate for the PACC Foster Program’s need for solid funding, budget for pet nutrition, and respect for Foster Volunteers there are so many ways to aid our shelter.

Pima County, your unwavering support for PACC's pets continues to inspire us. Recently, you answered the call for help, providing much-needed food for over 800 dogs and 500 cats in foster care, as well as for our community outreach efforts. Your generosity has helped us support those who rely on us to keep their pets fed and at home rather than making the heartbreaking decision to surrender them. Together, we are bridging the gap to keep families whole, and for that, we are so grateful.

Today, 484 dogs and 182 cats are still waiting on campus for their chance at a better life. The need is ongoing, but with the strength and compassion of this amazing community, we know we can continue to make a lasting impact.

A recent challenge: On Dec. 18, PACC's Animal Protection Services team rescued 91 cats, a dog, a lizard, and a turtle from a single property due to welfare concerns. While these pets are not yet available for adoption, hundreds of other animals urgently need foster or adoptive homes to help ease the shelter's space and resource constraints.

Your continued support—whether through adoption, fostering, or providing food and financial assistance—creates hope for the animals who rely on us.

🐾 Foster Friday Request: Nenana is recovering from pelvic fractures after being hit by a car. She needs a quiet, loving foster home to rest and heal. If you can open your home to Nenana or another pet in need, we encourage you to stop by PACC and inquire about fostering. ID # A854116; Age 2 years

Thank you, Pima County, for always being a community that stands together for pets in need. 💙

Beloved Shelter Director, Bridget Lindquist honored by the Espanola & Santa Fe communities on her retirement.
Rodeo sends our best wishes in remembrance of our kitty 🐈Hobbes we adopted from EH.
How refreshing to know more about this shelter executive director’s devotion, kindness, and compassion to pets and the families of Northern
New Mexico.

Prayers for Pima Animal Care Center’s search 🔍 for our next PACC Director with Bridget like qualifications. Focused on people and pets, respectful of community values.

PACC Hiring committee: please skip the career focused applicants, that schemed to exploit PACC’s strengths & successes as their own. for current news, contested contract and lawsuits in Riverside County, California. Thank you. 🤠

Mutts Break‼️
Where IS Earl’s purr?!
Advocacy is simply rough on the soul at times.
Barriers to get past with truth and patience.
Knowing the work does, can, and will have rewards for pets and people keeps us genuinely motivated.
And eggnog sounds delicious, sweet Earl. ❤️🎄❤️
Rodeo will add the Mutts series daily, so check back on Earl’s adventures to find his purr.

Friends Of Pima Animal Care Center 2024 Impact Report.
Our suggestion for donations, is to specify boldly what you care about in helping pacc pets directly.
As the Foster Program’s are not funded by the PACC budget, Foster Volunteers are very grateful for designated donations for nutrition & supplies. Questions?
Please ask us.
Thank you, Rodeo ❤️

Did you know Pima Animal Care Center life saving Foster Programs are NOT funded? Depending: first on Foster Volunteer’s out of pocket financial support, public donations, Friends of PACC gifting public donations they gather in cash & supplies,
and estate bequests.
Pretty much in that order ^^
of resources. Unstable funding, taking advantage of volunteers. Rodeo hopes to help change this situation.

Our Facebook comment regarding PACC Foster Volunteering:
Jamie, we love fostering.
Rodeo has helped place 35+ PACC pets. Note the catch phrase “we can provide supplies based on what we have on hand” mentioned by PACC.
PACC sadly relies on donated nutrition for pets in Foster and is often out of stock.
Yet, shelter housed pets are provided pet food within the PACC budget.
Please, ask / insist for all the pet food needed.
Do know Foster Volunteers are required to sign a waiver agreement to supply/ fund nutrition.
We were financially burdened with the out of pocket costs - $$$ a month. We are now advocating that currently unfunded PACC Foster Programs be fully supported within PACC budget.
Foster Volunteers are currently paying for hundreds of thousands of dollars towards basic nutritional needs for 8000 foster pets a year.
In some cases Fosters are funding medical as well.
Tonight 1000+ PACC owned pets reside in private homes with generous Foster Volunteers and their families.
All PACC owned pets no matter where they sleep deserve equal access to basic nutrition and supplies.
We are so proud of our community and thank you for your interest to Foster. It’s wonderfully rewarding, ❤️ the PACC Foster Care Team & Foster caregivers absolutely ROCK.

The story here in Riverside County, California mirrors the sad situation of lack of public awareness of access to open meeting forums here in our own community.
Pima Animal Care Center Advisory Committee meetings are held each month, there is absolutely no social media presence to encourage the to the public, volunteers or donor attendance or input.
No access to meeting recordings, and the minutes & agendas are not promptly posted.
Ideal?
Changes starting in 2025, past PACC directors no longer control the animal welfare & volunteer narratives in our pet loving community.

Update Winnie was adopted‼️❤️
First: Winnie is looking for her people. We hear good things about this beautiful pup,
located in Silver City,
New Mexico. What a memorable Christmas 🎄 to have her home and start to a very happy life.

Next: Shocking.
A two pet limit per dwelling in the town of Silver City, New Mexico. Unsure of the history of this sad ordinance.
I do know it has to be a serious barrier in shelter and rescue
fostering and adoptions
A two pet residential limit must be a base of unnecessary euthanasias.
Most of us including myself would be in violation.
I’m not sure what would be needed to change - update this dated ordinance?
Any ideas?
Please share.
Now wondering if Pima County or City of Tucson has a like limiting ordinance?
Read here:

Winnie has been adopted!
This is Winnie and she would love to find that special someone. She is a Heeler mix about 2 years old and a little on the small side. She is she has been here since October.
