I have been a busy boy this week!💗🐾

Our Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center's therapy dog has been very busy this week visiting staff for wellness visits, pediatric clients at Acadia hospital for assisted activity support and some friends in the unhoused community at Bangor Public Library for mental health support.

Today is my birthday and I spent it doing what I love – spreading joy and kindness. I hosted a “Cookies and cocoa with Koda” event at the hospital, which was a huge tail wagging success! Lots of holiday joy was shared at the medical center’s community kiosk today celebrating EMMC’s Community Impact Team, donating to their Diaper Drive and Christmas is for Kids project, and enjoying sweet treats! More than 200 staff stopped by to wish me a happy birthday, thank me for my volunteer service and to spoil me with gifts, pats and treats!

Then I celebrated at home with presents, and a yummy homemade cake (thank you, Sweet Biscuits Dog Bakery) with my bestie Ru!

Thank you to everyone who helped make my birthday so special! Here’s to lucky 13! 💖🐾🎉

On the sixth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, pets from nearly 40 students at Husson University!

It’s my most favorite time of year- Pause for Paws stress relief night with some pawsome college kids!

I spent this morning, for the first time, rounding on staff and patients at Acadia Hospital as part of their 12 days of Acadia celebration! I had a tailwagging good time making new friends. Before I left, one of the children I visited gave me the sweet note. I am a lucky pup!💕🐾✨

Thank you Husson University Wellness Center for inviting me to campus for another pawsome stress relief night for midterms week!

Over thirty students stopped by the student center to “paws” for a study break and get some pets and tail wags with me. I loved hearing all their stories about their good four legged friends back home!
