Abi and Nero both did very well in our lesson the other day, I’m very much looking forward to seeing where this pair go! Nero is only 4 so still has a lot to learn but with Abi’s enthusiasm to help him they’re going to be great together 🙂

I’ve taught Sarah for a while now but this was her first lesson with me on the lovely Twiglet. Sarah really enjoys jumping but feels she lacks confidence so I chose you do a small grid with her. Grid work really is great for horse and rider confidence! Sarah and Twiglet absolutely smashed it! 👏🏻

A great session on Mavros the other day! I started of with the Franklin balls to help me to loosen my hips as I am very tight in that area when riding. And then I finished off with the Equisk bands as I find these really help me become a lot stronger in my position, helping to engage a lot of different muscles. 😊

It’s been a year now since I took the leap and started freelancing and what a year it’s been! I just want to take this time to thank all my amazing clients, seeing you all improve and grow in confidence is so rewarding and that’s why I love what I do!
And of course I’m super thankful for finding Sammy he’s a very special boy 🥰

When I started teaching Jade and Skye I never thought we would be schooling in a big open field! What a long way we have come. Well done Jade for all your hard work and dedication, your confidence has come such a long way. Really looking forward to seeing this journey continue 🙂

And this is why I love my job!! Phoebe was very nervous at the start of our jump lesson this week but by the end of it she was cantering over a course of fences with real confidence. Well done you 👏🏻

Franklin Balls

Another great example of the Franklin Balls working wonders! This lovely lady has a lot of built up tension and tightness in her shoulders. The difference in her shoulders after using the Franklin balls to help release the tension is amazing 🤩

A good example here of how the Franklin balls can be used. This rider has one under each seat bone to help her feel the weight she has on each seat bone. Working on her straightness as this has a big impact on the horses way of going. Great improvement with this rider by the end of the session on Mavros 😊

STIRRUPLESS RIDING

My favourite exercise to do with my clients…. No stirrups!!!! But why?? Riding without your stirrups helps you to develop a good position, balance and an independent seat.
