FOR ADOPTION: JADE

Jade, both March 8, is a 7month old French Bulldog and Boston Terrier mix. Jade is a gorgeous seal brindle color. Jade is all puppy still. She is play play play. Then sleep sleep sleep. Jade has learned how to use the doggie door and is 95% trained with using it faithfully. Jade is great in the car and just sits in the dog car seat and enjoys the trip. Jade loves to play with her foster dog siblings. She loves squeaky toys. She will play with everyone in the toy box. Jade loves people and thinks every visitor is there to visit her. She can be shy in new situations, but give her a few minutes and her puppy curiosity wins over and she will be fine, or give her a treat and you can win her over that way. Jade is hoping that her new family has another playful dog sibling to help teach her the ropes and to keep her company. Jade is all ready to meet her new forever family and begin the rest of her life with them!

FOR ADOPTION: MANNY

Manny is a 4 year Pug mix. Manny weigh about 22 pounds. Manny’s family had several Pug’s they were giving away for free and everyone came took the cute puppies and left poor Manny behind. Lucky for Manny we believe in no manny left behind. So we took in Manny. Manny went straight to the vet, was neutered and vaccinated. Manny is shy, but he’s so sweet and loves everyone. Manny would love a home with another pet to show him the ropes. He loves sleeping on the soft dog beds next to the big people beds. He will follow you from room to room, making sure you are not doing anything fun without him. Manny in kind of a clown. He will jump up on the couch next to you and just stare at you as close as he can, then lay down. He loves to play chase, that is his favorite game. Manny is looking for an amazing family willing to work with him and show him how wonderful it is to be part of a family for the rest of his life!!

FOR ADOPTION: FOXY

Foxy is a gorgeous, 3 year old Blue Fawn French Bulldog. Foxy is a small girl, who weighs 20 pounds. Foxy can be shy at first, but she will warm up. She is not your normal high energy Frenchie. Foxy is the best cuddle buddy in the whole world. She loves her people. If she’s sitting next to you and you stop petting her, she will take her paw and pull your hand towards her to make you pet her. She loves to sleep in the bed with her people, snuggled real close. She loves her naps and she doesn’t like to go outside for very long periods of time. Foxy thinks outside is for the birds, unless there is water involved. Foxy loves water. Foxy loves to chase the water out of the end of the hose or a sprinkler. She loves to play on a splash pad. She is dog door trained. She likes the freedom to go potty and come right back inside. She’s kind of a diva. Foxy loves to wear clothes! Foxy is good with dogs and kids, sorry she hasn’t been cat tested. Foxy does like to play with her foster dog siblings and wrestle around. She will chase them around the yard and play in the water with them. Foxy would make a great apartment dog, since she can be on the lazy side. Foxy is a real sweetheart ready to find her forever home. Foxy is ready to be loved, spoiled and treated like the princess she is!

Buddy, born 1/2/2024, is a 9 month old Mini Aussie. Buddy is a gorgeous Chocolate Merle. Buddy weighs about 24 pounds. Buddy was originally purchased from a breeder, but he was not a good fit for his family, so they reached out to us. Buddy is a high energy dog, who loves to run and play with his foster doggie siblings. Buddy would not be good as an apartment dog. Buddy does get nervous in new situations and around new dogs, he needs some time to warm up. He needs friendly dogs that understand he is a bit shy at first. Buddy loves people, and attaches to his people very quickly. Buddy would be a great agility dog, if the time is spent with him to teach him. He is very athletic and playful. Buddy loves to play chase, and can run and run with the other dogs. He is sensitive if the other dogs show any bit of aggression, so he needs happy playful dogs! Buddy just wants love, fun and more love.

Adoptions in California, and numerous other states, have been slower than a snail’s pace the past couple years. Nobody is even coming to see dogs!!!

HAVE YOU EVER SEEN SUCH GORGEOUS EYES? DID YOU KNOW THEY CAN BE TWO DIFFERENT COLORS???

Dollie needs a home!!!! Dollie is an adorable Husky/Lab mix. She is about two years old and has the most loving soul. Dollie loves to give kisses and in exchange, you get to give her tons of belly rubs!!! This stunning young lady sat at the shelter for eight months!!! It’s hard to believe it because she is such a great dog! Dollie was rescued by a young lady who volunteered at the shelter, reading to the dogs. She took her home and had her for a couple weeks, but Dollie found her cats a blast to chase…the cats did not agree! So, Dollie is now living with two other big dogs and the cats stay upstairs.
More about Dollie:
She loves the water!!! She loves to splash around in her little pool out in the yard.
She loves to run and play with the other young dog…and do I ever mean run and play!
Loves to play with balls and toys. She can entertain herself by pulling the stuffing out of many of them, but she also likes to play fetch with them.
A little more you should know:
Dollie is potty trained.
She uses a doggie door.
She is very well crate trained!
She has never destroyed anything in the house. She did, however, take a boot outside once and strangle the lace out of it
The best home for Dollie:
If you run or hike, this IS YOUR dog!!!
She is dog selective, so she'd need to meet your dog. We feel her best doggie sibling (if you have one) would be an active male about the same size 🙂
She is a little shy, more with men, when she first meets you, but you’d be amazed how fast she warms up with love and yummy treats! Give her a chance!!!!!!
She shouldn’t go to a home with small children. She’s a tall girl when she stands on her back legs and she flails those long front paws about when she jumps up on you.
She went through a basic obedience class, but we couldn't finish because of human error. She was learning to do all the basics. If you'd like to adopt Dollie, we are happy to pay for another class that you can take her to. Maybe she can even learn to be a water jumping dog, frisbee, or agility. The possibilities are endless!
