I never got to post updates...it was a busy busy week. So Charlotte ended up having a lot of complications in her delivery (this was only her 2nd litter but we will not be breeding her again)

Her labor lasted over 17hrs! Unfortunately we lost all but 2 babies but I guess it's a miracle any survived. They were all well over an hr to 2 hrs apart being delivered. Less than 15 minutes is normal.

So we are thankful for our survivors who are thriving. Both sweet little girls and 1 has wattles!!

Charlotte has fully recovered and is doing great, she will live out her days on the farm being fat and happy 🥰

Made it thru the cold this past week 🤣
We are so ready for spring here!

We have a sweet little bottle baby available, a few hens,(bantams,Polish) and fr$$ roos as well as several bunnies needing new homes:)

Finally expanded the pigs pen! It's about 4x the original size
I've felt really bad how cramped they were in their temporary pen the past few months.

When we moved to our new property there was SOOO much to do, endless projects, delays, set backs ECT. Several things have been make shift, temporary and "it will work for now" but we're finally making progress and it's so exciting ❤️

My awesome hubby had the great idea to upgrade my feed storage by building a raised floor so I don't have to use pallets anymore...and I love it!! ( First 2 pics are before and after)
Bonus - we built it in one evening 🥰

Super proud of how much we've learned over the past year and how far our DIY abilities have come 🤣😜

They've arrived!! Kinda sad though, I think these will be our very first animals on the farm where most will have no names. 😭 I've done good so far but we're over 130 animals now and half these guys look identical 🤣
