He didn’t latch on like his siblings, which meant tube feeds, bottle feeds, and lots of close care to make sure he got the nutrition he needed without any mishaps. When we introduced puppy mush, his excitement was through the roof—so much love for food, yet it brought its own challenges, leading to a scary moment of aspiration and intense days of around-the-clock observation and care.
But here we are, the day after those intense 24/7 care days, witnessing Tuff discovering softened food with all the gusto you’d expect from a puppy who’s never lost his appetite, despite the hurdles. This moment is more than just a meal; it’s a milestone of Tuff’s journey, a testament to the dedication that hand-raising puppies requires, and a huge sigh of relief for us. 😮💨
