Bento had the time of his life, and I am absolutely certain he knew we were celebrating him ❤️
Thank you to all my dear friends who came to celebrate this special day with us. Thank you for putting on blue party hats, hugging and cheering Bento, and posing with him beside the most absurd party signage pinned on the fence: “It’s my birthday, mother puppers!”
To the hairy little man who has been by my side through everything: my dissertation, numerous sit-ins and pickets, all the relationships and the break-ups, the birth and passing of loved ones, the addition of more street dogs to the pack, and all ten years of running Freedom U.
