We are planning to host 1-2 OK Corral trainings per year going forward. This past fall we hosted the yellow seminar focused on helping families. We would like to gauge interest for spring vs fall hosting dates as well as requests for which color to host. Please feel free to comment or dm us your thoughts! We have amazing neighbors. We have an agreement for them to hay our back fields for their cows, and today they came and finished off some stone work for us that our tractor is not equipped to do. We had some pretty deep and steep ruts that they smoothed and filled for us! Still more to be done but the horses gave their immediate approval lol

Our hay guy ended up with some extra rounds this season. We took advantage of the amazing weather this morning to go and stock up on some more to ensure we are good for the winter. We had to put out rounds earlier this year than last due to the drought impacting our grazing. Thankful for the nice weather and for our amazing hay farmers!

We spent some time this morning (with the help of some of our amazing boarders) working on fixing some slope/footing issues in our front field. More to be done but very happy with this start!

Hay, hay and more hay. That’s been the theme of the last week. We’ve put up over 250 squares and just today snagged two bakers dozen of round bale loads. We’ve got one more run to do then hopefully we don’t have to load or unload any hay until spring cutting! Our bank account is sore but our ponies will be happy!

We hosted the amazing Jessica Bortner-Harris today for a clinic. Flat and jumping lessons were challenging, fun, and informative! And another project done. We rehabbed this old shed so we can have more round bale storage through the winter, saving precious indoor arena space. The finishing touch was the stone that got put down this week to have a dry and safe base. Loading this up in the coming weeks to get us through winter!
