I am educated in vet technology, pet care (including animal CPR and first aid), and dog training which means that your loved one will receive the best possible care. Hello, my name is Katherine Bordier and I am the owner of Pet Purrrrfurred Pet Care in the Yuba Foothills. I started my business while a college student and continued that business after graduation. Due to my love for animals, I decid
ed to go to school to be a vet technologist. However, I could not deal with constantly having to put my furry friends to sleep and decided to continue working as a pet sitter. That works out best for you, however, because I take the skills I learned in the classroom to my work as a pet sitter. Your loved ones will be in very safe hands with me! Although I am new to the foothills, I have been a professional pet sitter for over 10 years. I have always had a deep bond and love for all animals and that is why I started my pet sitting business. I earned a B.A. In sociology and history from UC Santa Cruz but found myself drawn to pet care above anything else. I have worked with the Boxer rescue in California and other rescues in the area. I have ridden horses since I was a child and currently train in the English discipline in the Yuba County area. Therefore, unlike many pet sitters, I am not afraid to care for your horses. I can feed them, move them to their stall at night, and know the signs to look for if your horse is in trouble. I have owned pets all my life. I am currently the proud owner of Chino, a darling lab/kelpie mix, Smoosh, a black and white cat, and 4 goats named John, Paul, Ringo, and George. They are all the loves of my life. I look forward to collecting a miniature pony, a miniature donkey, and chickens in the near future. My goal is to provide you and your family with superior pet care and service and I want to exceed your expectations with the pet sitting experience.
