We can’t thank you all enough for all of the comments, inboxes, text messages and just love in general🤍. I’ve read every one of them and although many make me cry, It does our hearts good to know how loved Gus was in this social media community. I love hearing about favorite pictures or videos of him🤍 A lot of you’ve asked about Rosie, so just wanted to let you know she seems to be doing just fine. She’s enjoying a little extra attention and extra treats🤍 Much love to you all.

It is with great sadness, and beyond what we have yet to grasp, to have to tell you that our sweet Gus passed away on Christmas Eve night. Three weeks ago he was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and on Christmas Eve day we found out that his kidneys were also failing. We were hoping we he had enough time left to be with him through the holidays, but it became apparent throughout the day and evening that he was struggling and his condition was getting worse. Our poor little guy fought hard but his tiny body was so tired. We had 14 wonderful years with our favorite Gus Bug…. It wasn’t enough time and it is so hard to try and imagine our lives without him. We want to thank you all for loving him as much as we did🤍
