Pearl is home🖤🖤🖤

She has finally leveled up into her final, perfect form.

I will continue posting cute photos to this page. We have hats for her. A special chair. She’s only been home a week but it couldn’t feel more natural. It was my honor to care for Pearl as a pet and it will continue to be my honor to care for her as an oddity that is also my friend.

This is all thanks to Animal Family Pet Preservation and their incredibly compassionate and professional staff. Pearl was handled with care and adoration as they guided us through the freeze drying process.

The results speak for themselves. She is home, forever now. Still expecting to be loved 🖤🖤

Around 1:00 AM this morning, Black Pearl the Black Pugs inter-dimensional mission to earth came to an end. For over 15 years she collected data on humans, animals, roast chicken, and how to love unconditionally.

She has gone back to her home planet. She has learned all we had to teach her.

My family and I feel lucky beyond measure to have had her all these years. She brought us indescribable joy every moment we were around her. She was one of the worst imitations of a “dog” I have ever seen. Truly an ancient entity trying to pretend to be one of us. She was curious, superstitious, and able to adapt to anything this world threw at her.

She has lived in three states, in five towns.
She’s been on Animal Planet.
She’s been to Disney World.
She’s flown on a plane.
Crossed the south by car.
Survived cancer.
And pooped in hundreds of places she should not have.

We would all be lucky to be as brave and daring as this one little Pug named Pearl. And we’d be even luckier to know a fraction of the love she felt from everyone she ever met.

This page will stay up forever. As long as it can possibly be maintained. Thank you from myself and my family for loving Pearl by our side.
