Will someone give this good boy a home?? His name is Buck. He is a certified good boy, and is currently at the Southington Dog Pound. He is ready to go home. Call 860-628-8053 to visit and interact with him. He deserves a good home.
Meet ATLAS!
His owner does a lot of obedience training with him, but she was still struggling with his reactivity on leash. One day in class another owner had the nerve to tell her to put him down because of his issues. Rather than give up, she decided to ask me for help. In just a few short sessions, we were able to make a lot of progress. You are never as far away as you think you are. Never be afraid to reach out when you need help!
Meet LUKE! He was from an abusive home, and was surrendered to the Southington Dog Pound. He struggled with some really big feelings including not having trust in people. We have been working with him for a few months now, and have taken our time to build trust. Using reinforcement-based training, we have made an effort to save his life and teach him that he can trust people, and even enjoy being with them!
This video was taken last weekend after our training session. You can imagine our excitement when he rolled over and showed his belly to enjoy some pets from this handler. This is why we do it.
I'm very proud of this one. This girl was so afraid of everything that for a while all I could do was walk her in very short bursts trying to make it a positive experience for her because she would literally try to fee...not just run but FLEE from everything. It's been a couple of slow months but here's the payoff. Great job Ladiebelle
Cliff the chi-town thug pug and his big bro Finley
Determined to make Dagur a circus dog
Meet Cliff. The Chicago thug pug. Found roaming the streets of chi town just doing regular thing stuff but now he's a happy family dog
Working working leash manners w Mr. Hopper.hes looking really good
Got to work with Ivy today 🥰
Mr Finley on a rainy walk today. Always a good boy
This boy always has to do it his way
This is Holly playing with Finley. Holly is a recent rescue and was used as a bait dog. Just a couple of months ago, she couldn't even be near another dog w/o showing signs of fear and aggression.
We took our time and made sure we weren't pushing her too far too soon and today, we are happy to say she actually has several friends now. She not only tolerates other dogs presence, but actually plays and enjoys herself.
Feeling thankful her owners trusted me to help. Its a pleasure to work with them and their 4 legged family member
Showing off this guy's strut. Looking good Mo 😎
For me, there are very few things I enjoy as much as hiking with this guy. Look how happy he is to be free 🥰😭
Awesome client doing the work and getting the results. Olive is on her way to be an emotional support dog 🧡
If you don't have a dog you can walk with like this, then let's get started! I've got a couple of openings next week and the sooner we get started, the sooner you can start giving your dog what they need without it being a chore. On top of that, you will also get a miniature course in basic obedience in case you want to take the training further. Message me or call 860 416 6444 to set up a time to start. It's affordable and you wont regret it.
8 month old "olive" and her dedicated owner working on that loose leash walk. TONS of distractions. Took her a few minutes to get in the groove but we were super consistent and Olive was happy to show us what she can do.
I think he enjoyed the walk
